Knights of Gold

Good afternoon. Welcome to all the new members. We're back to our desks today, brief look at Gold after a strong open to the new year.

Daily. Showing a possible swing 5 into 1960 area. We're waiting for support at 1930-25 which should hold. Not taking any longs. We had a long trade from last year at 1887 which we will leave running

4H. Again showing us a similar move going up. We're looking for support, will not be entering long. We want to short it from the box based on successful resistance

Looking for a test of support below for an entry. If we don't get the entry we'll sit it out.

Ideally we want a spike down, up towards 1960 and then we'll test the sell targeting 1930, upon successful resistance above.

Small lot being used and SL in place.

That's us done for today. Hope you caught some pips. There's a huge chance of a reversal tomorrow or Thursday so trade safe. We're hunting shorts from our target levels

Good afternoon.

We're waiting on two levels to confirm where we may go next. 1930s and 1900s. A retest of 1900 should be on the cards but we're not taking the short yet.

If we go up towards 1930 and face resistance we'll test the short. Support at 1900 and we'll test the long towards 1930.

There will be a lot of buy orders stuck around 1930 so it may just go down to trigger stops from buys orders put in yesterday. Always best to wait for the retest of a level before taking an entry.

This is the trade idea on the 5min chart. Break, resists and we'll take the trade target 1905 to be safe. Small lot, strict SL

Taking 50% profits on this trade. Stop moved to entry.

Its getting late in the evening and we don't want to hold it overnight. If you entered with us it should be in profit

We're not in any trades for this. Plan is to wait for it to be over with and let the market find its feet.

Our custom volume bar is showing support at 1878 and resistance at 1902. We shall wait to see which way it goes and breaks

Good evening. Its been a very positive week for us, all trades in profit, if they weren't we took at least 50% profits and moved stops to entry, above or below. Well done to anyone who followed.

We're signing off for the weekend. Will be back on Sunday night for market open. Right now, Gold has broken a key support at 1850, institutional attacks on metals don't usually end like this, so we're expecting it to go down further next week. Our chart shows our 5 swing target and the drop that occurred after that (perfectly timed). Please check our TradingView profile for clarification to see where we analysed the trade and how it unravelled.

Right now, we want to see where Gold closes tonight, so we shall wait until Monday before we decide whether to long or short it.

Good Morning.

Currently we are waiting for one of these levels to break. Gold should technically go back up towards the 1870s region, however, we do not have confirmation of our signal as yet.

Personally, I think institutions are not done with the selling phase of Gold, so there is a chance we will drop further down.

Hourly. Again, its showing us the 1870s level. We're not going to Long it at the moment.

Our DXY entry is in profit and looks like it will go up to fill the gap.

Right now we're on the sidelines, we could have gone long on Gold but our strategy isn't showing us a signal as yet.
