What a year on the markets in Camelot, exceeding our expectations of statistics and results, the community the algo and the indicators! We’ve introduced a new strategy to compliment the original Excalibur strategy, we’ve put together a suite of indicators to help our traders navigate markets and trade any time of the day without the help of KOG.

The results on the hots spots speak volumes, the hit rate on Excalibur was tested independently and resulted in 97% of targets being hit within 24hrs, the 6yr average hit rate increases (previously 90%, presently 93%) however, we still need to finish the year for the final result. Look through the KOG Reports and you will see how effective not only tracking gold upside through the rally, but also down to pinpoint targets and reaction points for the reversals through the corrections.

There's a lesson in the post above. Although the signal is active, the red boxes are active and we have an extremely high probability the target will be reached, we can't just enter on a whim! We teach our traders this regularly, Entries are really important when trading. Always look at previous price action, what is on the chart, where are they likely to test and what structure is there. Use the charts, use the levels. Have an idea of where your ideal entry point is and wait.

If it doesn't come, it doesn't come, let the price go to where it needs to, then start the process again. This way it doesn't matter where the price goes, what they do, you have a set up and a set of rules, stick to them.

The ideal entry level for this was from below, a risky entry is getting in on activation of a signal and just going for the target. Due to price being where it was there is nothing stopping them reversing aggressively on all the late entries, taking the lower liquidity then bringing it back up. Your entry should be where everyone else has their stop losses!
