📍The prominent public figure shall be held responsible for making endorsements that are a possible violation of the Consumer Protection Act or any other law.
📍The celebrity endorser can be levied a penalty of up to ₹10 lakh and repeated violations can result in a fine of up to ₹50 lakh and a three-year ban from selling any other items.
