Tate with better takes than active club pro Whitoids who only care about stickering mailboxes and dropping corny banners that nobody reads.

While Americans love weaponizing the term βwokeβ, America in the 1700s was the epitome of woke.
This was (1) a democracy at a time of kingdoms, (2) founded by deists at a time of Catholics and Protestants (Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, Paine, were all deists, others were more liberal Protestants), (3) many of whom were known Freemasons (Washington, Franklin, Hancock, Monroe), (4) some of whom were very young (Jefferson, Hamilton, and Madison were in their early 20s to early 30s).
Some white nationalists bring up the fact that America was founded as a more or less βwhiteβ country. They cite the Naturalization Act of 1790, which offers citizenship to βfree white persons of good characterβ.
But if you think about it, this was very progressive for its time. Britain had no naturalization process, and for certain times in its history, had explicitly anti-Catholic and anti-Jewish laws. The U.S. had no religious test, and people all the way from Eastern Europe and even (in some cases) the Levant were being considered βfree white persons of good characterβ.
The American experiment had a lot of great things, but itβs important not to overly romanticize it, as most Americans do. It is a relatively young empire and we can already see where some foundational ideas have steered it in the wrong direction.

In case you wonder what they do at the Wailing Wall β according to Hasidic Jews, they are having intercourse with a feminine demiurge (the Shechinah).
It is interesting that every major political figure does this specific act. I would like to think that they donβt know the significance of it, but this information isnβt exactly hard to find.
