Sinwar died as fearlessly as he lived. He knew that he could be martyred at anytime, and in fact welcomed it. In the speech he recalls how it would take him nearly an hour to traverse Gaza on foot after leaving his speech venue, an hour where his location is known and he is out in the open for Israel to assassinate him if it so pleased. Sinwar did not fear death, neither did his predecessors.
