🚨 Today, those 50 BTC were moved to new addresses.

Research on the so-called “Patoshi pattern” (by Sergio Lerner) shows that the same miner (presumably Satoshi) mined blocks:

starting from block 1 (January 3, 2009)

up to roughly block ~54,000, which corresponds to mid-2010.


Why only until 2010?

At the end of 2010, Satoshi stepped back from the project and stopped mining.

After that, the mining pattern changes, and the “Patoshi pattern” disappears.


Wallets linked to blocks mined between early 2009 and mid-2010 are typically considered Satoshi Nakamoto–related wallets.
