Another scammer opened a fake investment platform in Thailand and swindled an elderly woman out of 380 000$.
The woman realized that the crypto bro was up to something shady and decided to contact the police. The police then attempted a sting operation by arranging a money handover to the scammer, but the scammer never showed up.
Eventually, he was found in a luxury apartment and arrested. Now the police are looking for other victims of this individual.
For now, he faces up to 20 years in prison, and if more victims are found, the sentences for each case will be added together

Conor McGregor mentioned gifts involving Khabib:
What a disgrace and a stain on his father's name.
Just wow! To deceive fans by using his father and the culture of his country is just mean.
The father's plan has now become the father's scam.
Very sad.
On the other hand, it was great to see Islam Mak pay tribute to his father, putting the double world champion title on his shoulders and saying: "Not many fathers of two-time world champions!" True.

Within the next three days, Durov is supposed to present his new project, Cocoon β an AI system that will operate using the TON blockchain.
If his words from the stage turn out to be smoke and mirrors again, and all this hype was created just to keep the current unlocks from crashing the market, then things are looking pretty bad.
In short, just a couple days left. We wait and watch.

Looks like Tyler Durden (@brucelee23) is saying goodbye to Telegram. His last message indicated he's sold off all his projects and is heading into new business territory. It's a classic 'build it, sell it, move on' approach

Few hours ago, one of the Satoshi-era wallets suddenly woke up.
17uEQxSfy76bkuq2f3UTU2EGHoM6N3j9Pa
This wallet had been dormant for 15.7 years.
In early 2010, it received 50 BTC as a block reward.
π¨ Today, those 50 BTC were moved to new addresses.
Research on the so-called βPatoshi patternβ (by Sergio Lerner) shows that the same miner (presumably Satoshi) mined blocks:
starting from block 1 (January 3, 2009)
up to roughly block ~54,000, which corresponds to mid-2010.
Why only until 2010?
At the end of 2010, Satoshi stepped back from the project and stopped mining.
After that, the mining pattern changes, and the βPatoshi patternβ disappears.
Wallets linked to blocks mined between early 2009 and mid-2010 are typically considered Satoshi Nakamotoβrelated wallets.

A forgotten digital permission, granted as far back as 2020, activated a $340K cryptocurrency heist. The victim had unwittingly authorized a harmful action, a vulnerability exploited by a hacker who patiently monitored the wallet. Once significant funds arrived, the hacker swiftly emptied the USDC in a single, decisive transaction. This serves as a potent reminder to regularly audit and revoke old wallet permissions.
