Processing this much words is gonna take years with my little RAM😅…

We’re given NLP assignment to build a text preprocessing system that basically processes the text and prepares the text for NLP analysis like sentiment analysis or text-to-speech or anything like that.

Must do:
words must be greater than 20,000 🤯
Text to be processed should be in local languages ( in our case Afan Oromo )

Someone suggested me to use Google Colab provides free access to computing resources, including GPUs and TPUs, so no more problems with the computation time..

And then build the pipeline—create POS tags and remove the stop words, lemmatize the words omg its alot of job.. especially when it comes to local Languages

Today I had an amazing day… IS is on 🔥🔥 I showcased AAUhub at the exhibition to student and all IS community and got many recommendations. Also had the opportunity to connect with interesting people.. and I was also amazed by the projects presented there and can’t wait to collaborate with them😊

After all you have more time in the university than you do outside.. use it to build your self, fail as much as you can, learn from it and fall forward.. And one more thing don’t build fancy things😁
