I have been using Kiro for some time now, ngl it is surprisingly good at understanding your project’s requirements. Since it’s spec-driven, it doesn’t just jump straight into code — instead, it helps you think in terms of requirements, design, and tasks before moving to implementation. That makes it more structured than Cursor.
That said, I’ve noticed it lags a lot compared to Cursor. Cursor feels blazing fast, but the hallucination problem never really goes away there. Kiro trades some speed for depth and consistency — better specs, less nonsense, but slower feedback.
And honestly, I’m not trading Cursor’s smooth dev experience for that… at least not for now. If you’re curious though, you can join Kiro’s waitlist on their site.

I just found this nice telegram bot starter kit that uses ptb and starlette as a backend. It also uses sql alchemy 2.0 for persistence.
