Globally, the LGBTQI movement has made tremendous gains in social acceptance and dismantling of state discrimination in recent decades. The right-wing backlash to this is extremely severe in many countries. While in the U.S., UK, Russia and Eastern Europe the fight against trans* people has been fierce for several years, the issue seems to have arrived in Germany's political right as well.

Antigenderism has been part of the right-wing canon for quite some time and queerphobia has always been part of it - transphobia, however, is a new variety. Many actors of the (extreme) right in the German-speaking world have begun to address the issue. Parallel to the current discourse in society as a whole, it has the potential to become a new hot topic.

In the lecture, the ideological foundations that the (extreme) right uses to fight against queer people will be examined. Using concrete examples from theory and practice, we will analyze contexts and outline the transphobic narrative from the right.

Und auch bei diesem Ende der KorASH ist es wieder Party Time! Wir freuen uns, euch bei einem Getränk, einer Runde Tisch-Kicker oder beim Tanzen kennenzulernen. Das Ganze findet in einem solidarischen, antifaschistischen und queeren Projekt in Hellersdorf statt (AJZ Kita - Wurzenerstr. 6., 12627 Berlin). Freut euch auf Bands und DJ-Personen, und es wird auch eine Drag Performance geben! Für Essen ist mit einer Küfa auch gesorgt und die Schlafplatzorga wird euch leckere alk und non-alk Cocktails mixen. Wir möchten dafür sorgen, dass sich alle durch die Anwesenheit von Awareness-Personen möglichst wohlfühlen können. Bitte kommt nach Möglichkeit getestet! Wir freuen uns gemeinsam mit euch die korash auskrachen zu lassen - bis bald!

And again, at the end of KorASH, it's party time! We look forward to getting to know you over a drink, a round of table football or dancing. The whole thing will take place in a solidary, antifascist and queer project in Hellersdorf (AJZ Kita - Wurzenerstr. 6., 12627 Berlin). Look forward to bands and DJ-persons, and there will also be a drag performance! Food will also be provided with a Küfa and the sleep place orga will mix you tasty alk and non-alk cocktails. We want to make sure that everyone can feel as comfortable as possible with awareness people present. Please come tested if possible! We are looking forward to finish the korash together with you - see you soon!

die kritischen Orientierungswochen dieses Semesters wurden mit der schönen Party erfolgreich beendet. Wir wollen uns für die spannenden Diskussionen, die zahlreichen Teilnahmen, das Mitdenken und Teilhaben und die schöne Zeit zusammen bedanken.
Selbstverständlich wirds im nächsten Semester wieder eine KorASH geben! Falls du bei der Vorbereitung dabei sein willst; wir werden rechtzeitig eine Einladung fürs erste Treffen spreaden.
