Over a year ago, the Russian attack on Ukraine began. Everywhere the call for re-armament has been echoing louder since then. With the "turn of the times" announced by Federal Chancellor Scholz and 100 billion in special funds, Germany is supposed to become "defensible" in the air, on land and at sea and further expand its own supremacy in the world. Youth officers recruit young people at schools to serve in the armed forces, and the free driving program for soldiers in uniform makes the military increasingly present in everyday life as well. Proud soldiers smile from the advertising panels, with whom YOU could also share a position in the trenches. The government and much of the opposition are joining in the largest military mobilization since World War II. Together we want to discuss the current militarization and put it into an international context, because we should not just let these developments happen to us!

In diesem Workshop möchten wir uns darüber austauschen, was wir unter „Behinderung“ verstehen, was (uns) behindert und was Ableism als Diskriminierungsform, von der behinderte Menschen besonders stark betroffen sind, bedeutet. Wir wollen mit Euch Eure Privilegien reflektieren als zukünftige Professionelle der Sozialen Arbeit, die vielleicht mit behinderten Menschen arbeiten werden. Wir wollen aber auch Raum geben für Eure eigenen Bedürfnisse und Empowerment, zum Beispiel indem wir über häufige Barrieren im Studium, sinnvolle Nachteilsausgleiche und gegenseitige Unterstützung sprechen.
Der Workshop wird von Ulrike Haase und Conni Schwärzer-Dutta gegeben, beide Trainerinnen bei IDJ (Intersectional Disability Justice). Ulrike berät außerdem beim Netzwerk Behinderter Frauen Berlin e.V. und Conni bei autistic-love.de

In this workshop we would like to discuss what we understand by "disability", what disables (us) and what Ableism means as a form of discrimination that particularly affects disabled people. We want to reflect with you on your privileges as future social work professionals who might work with disabled people. But we also want to give space for your own needs and empowerment, for example by talking about common barriers in your studies, useful compensations for disadvantages and mutual support.

Am Freitag, 28.04. findet im AJZ Kita (U Louis Lewin Str.) eine Soliparty statt und wir brauchen eure Hilfe!
Die Party ist der Abschluss der Kritischen Orientierungstage der Alice Salomon Hochschule. Die Einnahmen gehen an Bleiberechtskämpfe in Deutschland und Griechenland. Es gibt Küfa, Band Musik und danach knackige Tanztunes vom DJ Pult.
Damit die Party lange, spaßig und achtsam steigen kann freuen wir uns wenn ihr euch für Schichten an der Tür und bei der Awareness-Crew eintragt. Die Awareness Menschen bitte mit Handynummer oder Mailadresse, damit ihr noch Infos bekommen könnt. Kurzfristige Einweisungen wird es aber auch vor Ort geben.

There will be food for everyone and concerts starting 7:30. We'll start off with some live music acts, then 'Horsta' will show a drag performance and then we'll continue the night with DJs to give you some dance music 🩷.
The house has steps to enter but a wheelchair accessible toilet. There will be an awareness team and there is no smoking on the dancefloor.

Weltweit konnte die LGBTQI-Bewegung in den letzten Jahrzehnten enorme Gewinne an gesellschaftlicher Akzeptanz und Abbau von staatlicher Diskriminierung erzielen. Der rechte Backlash dazu fällt in vielen Ländern extrem heftig aus. Während in den USA, UK, Russland und Osteuropa der Kampf gegen trans* Personen seit einigen Jahren erbittert geführt wird, scheint das Thema auch in Deutschlands politischer Rechten angekommen zu sein.
Antigenderismus gehört seit geraumer Zeit und Queerfeindlichkeit seit jeher zum festen Bestandteil des rechten Kanons - Transfeindlichkeit jedoch ist eine neue Spielart. Viele Akteur*innen der (extremen) Rechten im deutschsprachigen Raum haben begonnen sich dem Thema anzunehmen. Parallel zum aktuellen gesamtgesellschaftlichen Diskurs, hat es das Potential zu einem neuen Hot-Topic zu werden.
In dem Vortrag sollen die ideologischen Grundlagen beleuchtet werden, die die (extreme) Rechte zum Kampf gegen queere Menschen ausrichtet. Anhand von konkreten Beispielen aus Theorie und Praxis, analysieren wir Zusammenhänge und skizzieren das transfeindliche Narrativ von rechts.

Globally, the LGBTQI movement has made tremendous gains in social acceptance and dismantling of state discrimination in recent decades. The right-wing backlash to this is extremely severe in many countries. While in the U.S., UK, Russia and Eastern Europe the fight against trans* people has been fierce for several years, the issue seems to have arrived in Germany's political right as well.
Antigenderism has been part of the right-wing canon for quite some time and queerphobia has always been part of it - transphobia, however, is a new variety. Many actors of the (extreme) right in the German-speaking world have begun to address the issue. Parallel to the current discourse in society as a whole, it has the potential to become a new hot topic.
In the lecture, the ideological foundations that the (extreme) right uses to fight against queer people will be examined. Using concrete examples from theory and practice, we will analyze contexts and outline the transphobic narrative from the right.

The whole thing will take place in a solidary, antifascist and queer project in Hellersdorf (AJZ Kita - Wurzenerstr. 6., 12627 Berlin). Look forward to bands and DJ-persons, and there will also be a drag performance! Food will also be provided with a Küfa and the sleep place orga will mix you tasty alk and non-alk cocktails. And again, at the end of KorASH, it's party time! We look forward to getting to know you over a drink, a round of table football or dancing. The whole thing will take place in a solidary, antifascist and queer project in Hellersdorf (AJZ Kita - Wurzenerstr. 6., 12627 Berlin). Look forward to bands and DJ-persons, and there will also be a drag performance! Food will also be provided with a Küfa and the sleep place orga will mix you tasty alk and non-alk cocktails. We want to make sure that everyone can feel as comfortable as possible with awareness people present. Please come tested if possible! We are looking forward to finish the korash together with you - see you soon!
