Ok. So. No major updates in 2 weeks, work is draining me still, and even though I do get some free time, I simply was lacking creative energy.
While I did not work much on any particular picture, I still keep experimenting - with various models, flow and techniques. And I think today I managed to get some great progress, simplifying things quite a lot, and solving some other minor difficulties.
Anyway. Here are some raw pics from recent experiments (and generally some older ones). As always, those are flawed, and of varying quality. If you like any in particular, please let me know, and I will perhaps do a polished version.

One more raw pic for today.
I'm super happy with the results I'm seeing.
For those who might be interested, initially I was generating using pony v6 + pony realism (with realism set as a refiner at 0.7 - 0.8 in A1111). That applies to almost all older pictures which are not on this channel (but on e6ai).
Then, I switched to novaFurryXL, with the very same technique of mixing it with ponyrealism (not that great overall, as the models aren't really compatible).
This was somewhat fine, but proved to be difficult from perspective of training LoRA - my attempts were trained on Nova as a base model, and when applied, once ponyrealism would kick in, the whole image would get scrambled.
And just yesterday I discovered you can... merge models. And of course the option is right there in A1111 in plain view, and I never noticed. 😂
Just a few tests later, I found the perfect combo: NovaFurry + NovaAnimal, merged. No refiner required. Easy LoRA application. And just looks good (I hope).
