Marziyeh Asgari and her 3-year-old daughter Zahra Barzegar

Marziyeh was a pediatrician, a specialist in neonatal care, and a faculty member at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She was known as a kind and warm-hearted doctor.

She was martyred in Tehran while holding her young daughter in her arms.

🎥 Testimony of the Father of Martyr Zahra Rasouli, Obstetrician-Gynecologist, About the Night of the Attack

🔺This man is a university professor and holds a Ph.D. in microbiology. He was a neighbor of Dr. Taheranchi. His daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren were visiting him that night. His daughter was a physician and a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology who had moved to Qazvin due to her work.

🔺On the night of the terrorist attack, they had planned to return to Qazvin late at night, but they postponed it out of laziness and decided to stay. They planned to leave early in the morning so that the daughter could attend to her patients. That night, he and his younger daughter slept in their rooms, while the guests stayed in the living room. When the attack happened, the two floors above Dr. Taheranchi’s apartment and three floors below it were destroyed.

🔺The destruction was such that a deep crater tore through the ceiling, ground, iron, and concrete, starting from the 8th floor and reaching down to the 3rd. The explosion was so powerful that even the refrigerator, pushed by the blast wave, broke through the wall into the hallway and was charred and crushed in the fire.

🔺Kian, a 5-year-old grandson of the man, also passed away today due to severe injuries and burns, joining his martyred parents and brother.

🔺Their only crime was being neighbors with a cultured and scholarly individual!
