Mousa Saber, a kind and dignified man from Bazkiagorab, Lahijan, was killed alongside his wife, three children, and four innocent grandchildren when Israeli missiles struck their family home. The target was his son-in-law, a nuclear scientist but Israel showed no mercy to the three generations in that house.

He was a civilian. A father. A grandfather. And in the last moments of his life, surely thinking of those he loved most.

Rasoul Rezaei, a young conscript from Saveh, was killed on the morning of June 13 in an Israeli strike while on duty at his base in Qom. He was serving far from his family when what should have been an ordinary Friday turned into the beginning of open aggression against Iran.

Rasoul is one of many young lives stolen in what will be remembered as a dark and unjust day.

Mohammadreza Zakerian Amiri, 33, a gifted Iranian scientist in advanced technologies, was killed alongside his wife, chemistry teacher Zeinab Nabi-zadeh, and their daughters Fatemeh (5) and Zahra (7 months) when an Israeli strike hit their Tehran home.

Born in Amir Kolā, Babol, Zakerian earned degrees from Isfahan University of Technology and Malek Ashter University, and was accepted for a PhD at K. N. Toosi University. He refused offers abroad, choosing to serve Iran.

The family was buried in the Martyrs’ Cemetery of Shayestegān after a massive funeral attended by officials and mourners, who hailed him as a symbol of Iran’s scientific pride.
