I recently read this somewhere and this is all over my mind.
In trading world, You're not paid for simply executing buy and sell orders. You're are paid for exercising patience, waiting for your setup, and then confidently entering a trade.

Market expectations must align with its current setup and sentiment. At present, the market exhibits limited liquidity, resulting in fewer robust setups compared to previous conditions. Therefore, anticipating sudden market moves is totally unrealistic. The primary factor influencing this scenario is liquidity—there's a reduced influx of capital into the market.

Acknowledging this reality is crucial. Traders must accept that only a limited number of setups will be working. Our job is to keep trying and be picky about our setups with small stoploss. Those going strong to be held, those looking weak to be exited and do rotation in our portfolio.

Expecting the same market dynamics as before, characterized by ample liquidity and significant movements, is impractical in the current scenario marked by selling from foreign institutional investors (FIIs) and constrained liquidity. Unrealistic expectations coupled with a lack of risk management can lead to potentially eroding trading accounts.

Patience is key when assessing the performance of stocks. Swings often require 1-3 months to perform, particularly in the current market environment where accuracy may be reduced due to changed conditions. Monitoring indices such as NIFTY, MIDCAPS, and SMALLCAPS reveals a consolidation, time correction or price correction—clear indicators of low liquidity.
Here only thing that saves is experience and practice. Nothing else will work. My experience says, keep holding stronger ones and will remove weaker ones if the breach my risk management levels. Be with rotation theory.
