When in public and you’re asked what you do for a living, take a minute to read the room before responding.
Do whatever you must to buy that time - act distracted by their attire and ask about it, whatever.
In cut throat and competitive environments, it may not be in your best interest to be specific at first.
Social climbers often ask this question to gauge how much you make.
If you make more than them and/or carry more status, they might see you as a person they can take hang around to take advantage of.
And if you’re considered less, well, you’re to be discarded.

There’s such a thing as the Spirit of a Nation.
When your own spirit is incompatible (or in chronic disagreement) with that of your Nation, you will eternally struggle to find meaning and expression.
On the flip side, when your spirit is compatible with that of your host Nation, you thrive. Where others fail, you succeed.
Some people do exceptionally well in Nigerian public universities, and of those who do badly, not all are bad at school.
Take those ones to a country whose spirit is more compatible with theirs and they start topping the class, beating the natives.
A nation’s spirit does not simply change because you wish it to.
No, it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle.
You either make peace with your Nation’s spirit, the good and the bad, and adapt to it, or seek another as others have.
I know. I know.
You’ve been taught that you must pray for change.
That’s comical.
If you understood the nature of change, you wouldn’t adhere to promises by political or religious leaders who promise a destination they’ve never been to.
What does it even look like? Would they know? Would YOU know?
Rather than waste your breath on those prayers, pray instead for the spiritual acuity to discern the tide.
The Biblical Israelites were in captivity/exile for hundreds of years and they kept praying for a return their homeland.
The most discerning among them didn’t bother. They knew that the soul of their Nation had to do its time for all their sins.
Begging was useless.
They made their peace with the situation and settled for personal excellence.
One of them, Daniel, was so accomplished that he was nicknamed by the Babylonians “Chief of Magicians”.
Did you know the Babylonians changed his name to Belteshazzar?
Know what it means?
“Protect the life of the King”

Money is the easiest thing to make and master.
The bigger questions are whether you can:
- Despise the free lunch
- Tame your impulsivity, inconsistency & neuroticism
- Remove yourself from vibrational people, places & situations
- Commit to Constant and Never Ending Improvement (CANi)
- Avoid self sabotaging on the little progress you make from time to time
Left unhindered, most will attain success.
But some of you are the weapons fashioned against you.
And if you’re waiting for your friends to tell you the truth, it won’t happen
‘Cause like most of your life choices thus far, YOUR FRIENDS ARE PROBABLY SHIT and it’s likely they secretly hope to surpass you.
You’re too naive to see that it’s YOU VS YOU!

You cannot teach your kids every single thing BUT… you can indoctrinate them with your idea of class.
Many other lessons will stem from that.
“We don’t eat this.”
“We don’t go there.”
“We don’t wear that.”
“We only fly business.”
“These jobs, we don’t do. These other industries are your duty to be at the top of, nothing less, or find another pyramid.”
“We befriend only these people. To those other ones, we simply owe cordiality.”
“Date these types. Collaborate with the rest.”
Perhaps the most famous meaning of ‘discrimination’ is ‘prejudice’.
But another lesser known meaning (Merriam Webster) is ‘the quality or power of finely distinguishing’.
Only common people are raised without this quality deeply ingrained.
Watch how they stumble and crash through life because they cannot differentiate between ‘friend’ and ‘colleague’.
Watch how many life restarts they’ve been forced into because they carry their energies just anywhere.
They’d likely sneer at you too, but it’s okay. It’s not their approval you’re after.
King David was right when he wrote: “A man who is in honor, yet does not understand, Is like the beasts that perish.”
Discernment is not a gift.
It’s a trained competency you refine through time.
Teach this to your kids, sure.
But I hope you can tell that I’m ‘using style to’ teach you too.

Trust your path because…
Look, there’s a certain point on your career path, where if you’ve done everything right, opportunities chase you, not necessarily because of hard work.
Opportunities chase you simply due to your continued presence in that space.
Much like a beautiful young woman, the marketplace subconsciously fears being used and dumped, so it watches every new entrant for CONSISTENCY.
When it is clear beyond every reasonable doubt that energy is giving “I’m here to stay”, it opens up to you.
While you wait for the flood of paid opportunities, be mindful that you’re receiving ‘Mind share’ and the continued trust of the public.
Have faith in the power of compound interest.
When it rains, it pours.
With this faith, you won’t be tempted by blood sucking demons tempting you into their dumb crypto schemes, Ponzi schemes and other similar distractions.
Their marketing spells have no power over a content and focused man.
And there will be opportunities that are pretty acceptable, but are not for a person on your path. Leave them.
The masses need those, but not you…
You were destined to be the star of your industry.
But for every time you get sidetracked,
The market sees…
The market remembers.
And the market resets its trust for you, starting you over.
