[NIGHT SCHOOL] Do you feel… independent?
When a country achieves independence, it is not simply done over a handshake and the stroke of a pen.
It is a lengthy process during which the new country takes charge of its own territory, economy, administration, laws and identity.
Especially identity.
Countless hours are spent on the design of a new logo, anthem, currency.
Ah… and there’s the matter of defense. This country is now responsible for defending itself against foreign and domestic threats.
Phew! Who said sovereignty was going to be easy?
And what about you?
Are you truly sovereign?
Is your psychological military equipped to recognize and defend your mind from foreign and domestic threats?
Do you even have one?
How is your ministry of information? How does it vet incoming data and outgoing broadcasts?
Is it equipped to distinguish between a lie, a truth and a half truth?
When external media sends its troops to infiltrate the borders of your mind, do they meet firm resistance or broken walls?
You see, many humans today would say they are sovereign or independent, but in reality, are vassal states.
Know what those are? States with some internal independence in but only as determined by a foreign state that truly dominates their affairs.
