Lifting Engineer

Total Package QAR.14000 Long-term contract.
a) Responsible for lifting equipment selection,
procurement and ensure all lifting equipment meets
the required standards.
b) Ensure all documentation required for lifting and
rigging has been processed and correct in order for
the lifting and rigging to proceed
c) Produce Lifting and Rigging Method Statements,
Plot Plans Rigging Studies, Heavy Lift and Critical Lift
packs
d) Ensure compliance of QSGTL policies and
procedures.
e) Ensure safety critical elements are maintained
g) Supervise 3rd party inspections of CONTRACTOR
owned, operated or hired cranes, lifting equipment
including boom truck and forklifts (or any lifting
equipment under CONTRACTOR control)
i) Preferred engineering Degree or Diploma relevant
experience subject to Shell Lifting Department
Approval.
1) 5 years previous Heavy Lift Experience in the
position working in the Oil and Gas industry
m) A total of 7 years' experience in Lifting and Rigging
to include the Heavy Lift experience
n) At least 2 years' experience creating Heavy
complex drawings in AutoCAD
