Israeli Army and Shin Bet:

Nael Abu Odeh, commander of the Rafah Brigade and head of the operations division of Hamas's military wing, was killed in an attack in southern Gaza.

He was appointed commander of the Rafah Brigade after the death of Muhammad Shabaneh, and previously served as deputy commander of the brigade, as well as commander of the Tel Sultan and Yibna battalions.

According to the Israeli military, Abu Odeh was a senior Hamas figure and was responsible for directing terrorist operations against Israeli forces and Israeli citizens, as well as for rebuilding the military capabilities of the Rafah Brigade.
