US attack with cruise missiles on the Aq Qala railway bridge in Gorgan.(Iran)

Forwarded from Amit Segal
The Defense Minister, in a clear hint to Trump:

We did not ask for permission from anyone to enter Lebanon, and we donโ€™t need anyoneโ€™s approval to remain in Lebanon.

It is our right and duty to protect the residents of the Galilee and the citizens of Israel from the threats of the jihadist terrorist organization Hezbollah, which seeks to destroy the State of Israel.

The terrorist organization Hezbollah attacked Israel twice on its own initiative: after Hamasโ€™s murderous assault on October 7, and at the start of Operation โ€œRoar of the Lionโ€ in Iran, when it began firing at Israel under orders from the Iranian regime of terror.

Israel responded powerfully and over the past two and a half years has crushed most of Hezbollahโ€™s capabilities and leadership โ€” foremost among them the arch-terrorist Nasrallah, one of the masterminds behind the plan to annihilate Israel.

Thanks to the decisions of the political leadership, the determination of the IDF command, the courage and heroism of IDF soldiers, and the resilience of the northern residents โ€” we have established a strong security zone in Lebanon, from the sea in the west to the Beaufort compound and the approaches to Mount Hermon in the east, free of residents and of terror infrastructure both above and below ground โ€” in order to protect the residents of the Galilee from the threat of raids, anti-tank fire, and direct attacks.

As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I have made clear: we will continue to remain in the security zone in Lebanon and operate from it as long as necessary until Hezbollah is disarmed throughout Lebanon and the threat to the residents of the north is removed.

Mohammad Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, responds to the American strikes:

The United States still has not understood that bullying and violating commitments no longer come without a price. Let us be clear: if you strike โ€“ you will be struck.

Do not make desperate, futile gestures with your hands, because that will only cause you to sink deeper: the Strait of Hormuz will open only according to "Iranian arrangements" โ€“ and not under American threats.

Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel:
I think you should pay attention to where we were on October 7th and where we are today.

We are the most powerful superpower in the Middle East. Israel has never been this strong, and Iran has never been this weak.

We are facing challenges, especially this global wave of anti-Semitism that has been following us for thousands of years, but today we are a country, we have an army, and we have the ability to defend ourselves with our own strength.

I am very optimistic about the future.
