Air Force fighter jets recently attacked and destroyed, under intelligence guidance from the Military Intelligence Service, medium-range rocket launchers used by the terrorist organization Hezbollah at a military site belonging to the organization. In addition, rocket launchers belonging to the organization were attacked near another military site in the Nabatiya area.
As part of enforcing the understandings between Israel and Lebanon, prior to the attack, a request was sent to the Lebanese army to neutralize the launchers that posed a threat to the Israeli home front and our forces. The launchers were attacked only after the request was not processed by the Lebanese army.
