*AMBASSADOR DANON:* Today, at the UN Security Council’s emergency session on Lebanon, I named what some of my colleagues refused to say. The problem is Hezbollah. It keeps the fire alive. It keeps Lebanon hostage. It keeps northern Israel under attack. If there is no quiet in northern Israel, there will be no quiet for Hezbollah. No terrorist will have immunity.

Canada is failing Jewish Canadians and the community is being brutally targeted by hate, Prime Minister Mark Carney said Monday.
Carney said across Canada, antisemitism has surged to levels not seen in the post-World War II era. He noted that last year over two-thirds of all religion-motivated hate crimes were directed at Jewish Canadians. Jews make up only 1% of the population. “The horror and shame are global. Our actions must be local. They start with clearly admitting that Canada’s civic compact is failing Jewish Canadians,” Carney said at Holy Blossom Temple in Toronto.

A bus driver with a history of speeding accusations was indicted on additional charges Monday in a chain-reaction crash in Virginia that killed five people and injured dozens more. Jing Sheng Dong, 48, of Staten Island, New York, initially was charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter after the crash early Friday morning on Interstate 95. On Monday, a grand jury indicted him on three additional charges of involuntary manslaughter and one count of reckless driving, according to a statement from the Stafford County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office.

Residents across southern Italy were jolted awake early Tuesday by a magnitude 6.2 earthquake. According to the USGS, the quake struck about 10 miles southwest of Saracena, Italy.

🚨⚠️ The Israel Defense Forces Home Front Command announced that warning times for rocket fire from Lebanon will be extended from 60 seconds to 90 seconds in Haifa and 160 other communities across northern Israel. Following an analysis of Hezbollah rocket threats and IDF detection capabilities, officials determined that 161 communities could safely receive additional warning time. The change takes effect today at 4:00 p.m. and follows similar adjustments previously made along the Lebanon border, in the Golan Heights, the Galilee, and Eilat.

- Salem Faiz Hamed Krayqa, Hamas terrorist in the Shuja'iyya Battalion who was involved in preparing explosive materials
- Saeed Faiz Saeed Shamali, Hamas Nukhba team commander
- Ahmad Ali Abd al-Rahim Khalas, Islamic Jihad sniper platoon commander who advanced sniper attacks against IDF troops
- 2 additional Hamas terrorists who planted explosive devices in order to harm IDF troops

The IDF issues an evacuation notice to residents of Nabatiyeh, one of the major towns in southern Lebanon. "For your own safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move north of the Zahrani River," the IDF said.

Speaking at his farewell ceremony, outgoing Mossad Director David (Dadi) Barnea stated: “A change of regime in Iran is both a realistic and attainable objective. It is a mission within our reach, though it will undoubtedly demand determination, perseverance, and steadfast dedication. This objective must remain at the forefront of our strategic priorities".

🔴 *UKRAINE:* Russia launched one of its largest attacks of the war overnight, firing 729 drones and missiles at Ukraine, killing at least 11 people and wounding more than 100. Kyiv was hit hardest, with a 24-story apartment building partially collapsing, a nine-story residential block catching fire, and multiple vehicles burning across the Obolon district.
Thousands of residents sought shelter in subway stations as Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 642 incoming projectiles. The barrage reportedly included eight Zircon hypersonic missiles, believed to be the largest number used by Russia in a single strike.

The IDF says it struck Hezbollah weapon depots, command centers, and other terror infrastructure where members of the terror group were operating in southern Lebanon yesterday. The military publishes footage showing some of the strikes.

*MISSING SCIENTIST FOUND DEAD:* 53-year-old Melissa Casias has been found dead after going missing nearly a year ago. She worked at Los Alamos National Lab, where the world's first atomic weapons were developed during WWII. When Casias disappeared last year her family reportedly discovered that all of her personal belongings had been left behind and both of her phones had been factory reset.

*WATCH:* Israeli Foreign Minister Sa'ar inaugurated Israel's embassy in Fiji, a significant step in strengthening Israel's presence across the Pacific region. The new embassy in Suva will serve as a regional hub, deepening ties not only with Fiji but also with nine other Pacific island nations.

Israeli defense exports reached a record $19.2 billion in 2025, marking the fifth consecutive year of growth and a nearly 30% increase from the previous record of $14.8 billion in 2024, according to the Israel Ministry of Defense. The strongest growth came from the Asia-Pacific region, where sales surged to $6.1 billion. Government-to-government deals accounted for more than half of all exports, totaling roughly $10 billion, while 53% of exports came from contracts valued at more than $100 million. Officials credited the increase in part to reforms aimed at streamlining export licensing and expanding the list of approved destination countries.

At a farewell ceremony for outgoing Mossad chief David Barnea on Monday night, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Iran has paid a heavy price for its aggression. Israeli counter-drone startup D-Fend Solutions is set for a major $1.5 billion acquisition by Motorola Solutions, delivering a significant payday for its founders and investors amid surging global demand for drone defense. The company, founded in 2016, specializes in RF-based cyber takeover technology that allows security forces to seize control of hostile drones and force safe landings without kinetic interception.
However, its systems are not effective against camera-guided drones currently used in attacks on northern Israel.

A Jewish woman attending a court hearing in northern Germany involving a shop owner accused of inciting hatred against Jews said she was required to remove her Star of David necklace before being allowed to enter the courtroom, according to Israeli media reports. Karen Stopka said court security officers ordered her to remove and surrender the necklace while attending proceedings against a Flensburg shop owner who displayed a sign barring Jews from entering his store. The sign sparked widespread outrage in Germany and prompted legal action.
