HB 2492 is part of a larger package of election integrity measures Arizona adopted following the 2020 presidential election. Our state’s reforms are guided by the philosophy that it should be “easy to vote and hard to cheat.”
To restore integrity to our elections and voter faith in the outcomes, I propose the following reforms be adopted by every state...

“The attack on President Trump’s privacy yesterday is disgraceful and a disgusting stain on the history of this nation,” said Arizona Freedom Caucus Chairman Jake Hoffman. “The DOJ, now as an overt arm of the Democrat party, shamelessly targets Republicans for partisan gain, yet refuses to hold accountable those responsible for burning down American cities, terrorizing Supreme Court Justices’ children, or anyone even remotely close to Joe Biden (aka ‘The Big Guy’) such as the disgraced Hunter Biden or Crooked Hillary Clinton.”
Amidst this heinous attack on the 45th President of the United States by the FBI, Joe Biden and the Democrats have purchased $700,000 in ammunition for the IRS in 2022 and are now looking to add 87,000 new IRS agents so they can go after the common citizen also.

State Representative Jake Hoffman (R-Queen Creek), who sponsored HB 2492, told The Arizona Sun Times, “Since Jim Crow, when the courts were used by Democrats to institutionalize racism against black Americans, the Democrat Party and their operatives have a long track record of exploiting the judiciary branch of our government as a back door for enacting their anti-civil rights agenda.”
He added, “Make no mistake, Democrats have made it clear with their lawsuits against my legislation that they want non-citizens to vote in U.S. elections — a direct assault on the right of every American to free and secure elections.”
