In 2018, there were 1,700 people who voted in the Arizona general election for federal office that did NOT have proof of citizenship.
In 2020, the number of people who voted without proof of citizenship skyrocketed to nearly 12,000!
HB2492 would fix this once and for all.
...YET EVERY DEMOCRAT VOTED AGAINST THE BILL!
Let me be very clear, non-citizens should never be allowed to vote in U.S. elections. Period.
