Influencers/Citizen Journalists/Whatevers always say “Send me money to support my work”
And it raises the question: Is that money supporting any sort of work?
I don’t have that problem, because I do all of my public work without any regard for profit. I pay my bills with other businesses, and, according to some, with my fat trust fund.
And yet, some people donate to me. And that’s fine.
Do not donate to “support my work”! I have plenty of money to fund my work.
But, if you get value from what I do, send what you think it’s worth.
Value-for-value
You aren’t funding any missions. Your donations aren’t nearly sufficient for that.
But if you want to say THANK YOU, send a donation at JacobWohl.org/donate
