Oliver Anthony reminds me of the truckers who came to DC to protest in February of 2022.
They had all kinds of grievances. They would say “we want those people in DC to listen to us!”
To which I’d reply “that’s right, and what would you like to tell them?”
And they’d just say “to listen to us!”
“Okay, suppose they’re listening right now. What would you tell them?”
“To listen!”

Like the listless truckers, Oliver Anthony has some serious grievances, but he just isn’t intellectually equipped to articulate what they really are or what he’d like anyone to do about them.
