Here’s a crazy thought experiment: If Trump were President instead of FDR, could he have negotiated away the problem of WW2?
I think that maybe the answer is yes.

This is just lack of preparedness, poor leadership, and sheer incompetence
Respectfully, I would posit that this guy is in desperate need of direct neck training.
Given that he reportedly spends $2M/year to optimize his performance, this seems like a glaring oversight.
This could be a training issue or genetic, or both. For some, heavy shrugs and deadlifts just aren’t sufficient to grow their necks.
The imbalance between his shoulder musculature and his neck is a severe injury just waiting to happen.

What you have to understand is that no one, DeSantis included, gives a toss whether he wins or not. The Governor himself hates the idea. This is driven by the consultants who will make double-digit millions from the run. That's why everything looks so incompetent and pathetic. Not one person on the senior team is actually trying to succeed.
The American government’s ability to make the public feel as though they are in charge by giving them the option to vote is one of the great gambits of all time.
Even the most radical shift in voting only effectuates, at most, a 5% change in the day to day operations of Washington DC.

The mechanization of agriculture and the existence of a minimum wage ensure that America cannot make any use of the people who are in the bottom decile of intelligence.
These people just end up warehoused. Nobody has come up with a better solution.

I am increasingly convinced that Japan surrendered in WW2 because of the involvement of the Soviet Union in the war, not simply because of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Ward Wilson: The Myth of Hiroshima
Historians have long debated the moral legitimacy of the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the Second World War. But Ward Wilson, Author of "Five Myths About Nuclear Weapons," Senior Fellow at BASIC, and Director of the Rethinking Nuclear Weapons…
43% of white Harvard students got in through the so-called “legacy” admissions process.
But it turns out that these students had average test scores that were indistinguishable from non-legacy students.
So what this really tells us is that if you are white and want to have a good chance of attending Harvard, you have to achieve perfect test scores AND have inside connections.
