Of course, an immigration moratorium would never happen anyway, because massively profitable and well connected tech companies will pull whatever strings are necessary to get in talented developers via all of the “exceptions.”

As President, Trump hired:
- A Sullivan & Cromwell securities lawyer to run the SEC.
- A bank CEO to run the Department of Treasury.
- A coal lobbyist to run the EPA.
- A big pharma executive as FDA Commissioner.

And I could go on…

This promise just has zero credibility.

It is well documented that JaVanka, working in concert with the Mercers, selected most all of Trump’s appointees for him. And Chris Christie selected most of the others.
