If inflation stays at its current 4% level, I think that would be the best possible scenario.

The Fed wants inflation all the way back down to 2%.

It seems like there is some significant probability that inflation will keep falling, blowing right through the Fed’s 2% target, and we’ll end up with mild deflation.

Don’t get too bent out of shape about politics. Your opinion has essential zero impact on which laws are passed anyway.
