There’s a strong case to be made that the President of the United States should be paid $50M/year or more.

If that were the case, it would attract an entirely different caliber of person.

Republicans want more welfare for DoD, DHS and seniors. Democrats want more welfare for the urban underclass, illegal aliens and the education sector.

It’s the same old story.

The debt ceiling will be raised and both sides will get the increased spending they want.

Democrats can do whatever they want.
