People don’t understand that military/intel leaders are legally permitted to lie in open congressional testimony as long as the lie is corrected in the closed testimony.

If some random Air National Guardsman had the correct Ukraine casualty figures, you can rest assured that Congress did, despite the bluster about “200,000 Russian deaths” that we heard from Gen. Milley in open testimony.

It still remains unclear to me whether certain sections of these leaked documents were in fact altered in any way or not. People I trust on the matter don’t agree about it or aren’t sure themselves.

We now know with a high degree of confidence that the Ye campaign had effectively ceased all operations before Christmas. The most charitable explanation is that certain influencers wanted to keep some irons in the fire just in case Ye decided to come back and continue his presidential run.
