In my parents’ generation, everyone had jobs at age 14. When I was that age, it was still quite common, but far from universal.

People don’t understand that military/intel leaders are legally permitted to lie in open congressional testimony as long as the lie is corrected in the closed testimony.

If some random Air National Guardsman had the correct Ukraine casualty figures, you can rest assured that Congress did, despite the bluster about “200,000 Russian deaths” that we heard from Gen. Milley in open testimony.

It still remains unclear to me whether certain sections of these leaked documents were in fact altered in any way or not. People I trust on the matter don’t agree about it or aren’t sure themselves.
