There will need to be a few dozen more bank failures before you see conservatives protest with the same levels of intensity and agression as the left.

Most of the people that you might normally find at a conservative protest have a mortgage, two cars and perhaps a small boat or some jet skis. Their average age is somewhere in the neighborhood of 55. People experiencing this kind of economic froth are never going to protest like economically destitute Ukrainians in Maidan Square circa 2014.

On January 6, 2021 President Trump told thousands of loyal followers to go to the Capitol and "be tough." When they did exactly that, he called in the National Guard against them. And when the FBI promised to hunt them down like vermin, President Trump declined to issue a preemptive pardon, even as his legal advisors made clear that it would be easy to do. Instead, he issued pardons for a motley crew of violent rappers, a corrupt former Democrat Mayor of Detroit and a handful of fraudsters who were friends with Jared Kushner.

Keep all of that in mind as you consider whether to follow Trump's commands to protest.

Interestingly, the “trending” feature on Truth Social seems to only count real users and not the enormous number of bots on the platform, most of which are probably set up by the platform itself to give the appearance of more active users.

It shows the reality of how anemic the platform is.

The answer of course, is no.

I’ve read the entirety of the case files and determined that the way Ron DeSantis prosecuted three cases of sailors in possession of child p-rn was very much in line with the way that those cases are typically handled. It’s old news and not something to waste your time on.

I also went through PACER and reviewed every other case that DeSantis was a part of. What was more striking than those cases is the fact that Ron DeSantis handled virtually zero cases of any import as an Assistant US Attorney. Almost all of them were instances of people embezzling ~$1K from a military base, including many misdemeanors.

DeSantis’ whole life story makes very little sense. There’s a missing piece somewhere. Perhaps a very wealthy and influential uncle. There’s something. I don’t yet know what it is.
