There are countless cases of people lending out cryptocurrency and not being able to get it back, despite the use of so-called “smart contracts.”

This is something that @AliAlexander and I have been warning everyone about for several years.

I keep hearing speculation that FTX was an intel agency money laundering hub akin to BCCI. I don’t see it.

In this day and age, if the CIA needs to send money somewhere, they just use a normal bank or ship it on pallets. And unlike in the 80’s, if lawmakers don’t like it, they just spy on and blackmail the lawmakers.

And if one was going to set up a super secret crypto laundering hub, I can’t see them putting some embarrassing goober like Sam Bankman-Fried in charge. To some degree, you’d want a useful idiot stooge. But you wouldn’t want someone as conspicuous and wantonly reckless as SBF and his confederates.

For the record, it’s clear that the two men have been in the same meetings at MIT. I’m just curious about the photo.

One thing that will soon come out is that FTX did not only fund Democrats. That would never make sense from a lobbying standpoint.

Yes, Sam Bankman-Fried was the “Democrat guy” within FTX. But there were other senior individuals at the firm who served as the firm’s front-men to Republicans. And they too donated millions of dollars through direct donations and a vast network of PACs and dark money groups.

FTX itself even spent hundreds of thousands of dollars per year at a DC lobbying firm run by a former Republican congressman.

SBF is not suicidal in any way, shape or form.

Also: This “high on amphetamines” narrative is media hype. SBF hasn’t used amphetamines in more than 6 years. He has experimented with MAO inhibitors and Modafinil, with limited success.

If Trump 2024 succeeding means Jared running the country again, then I think Jared himself needs to run for office.

This is the male-female ratio of any real tech company without affirmative action.

Two years out, it makes better financial sense for Jared to say he’s not involved with the Trump Campaign. But if it looks like victory is near, it will be more lucrative for Jared to insert himself back into the campaign and White House.

Sperging out and refusing to even to listen to thoughtful arguments on why a Trump 2024 candidacy won’t work out is not a sign that you are intellectually strong.
