It turns out the claim that Brooklyn rabbis abuse at 18x the rates of Catholic priests isn’t true. These statistics are based on a meme. If you follow the links, you discover that the number of sex abuse cases attributed to "Brooklyn rabbis" (5300+) is actually the total number of sex abuse reports to the Brooklyn DA's office from 2009 to the present day. According to the DA, around 150 of those cases came from the Orthodox Jewish community.
The point that contemporary culture demonizes Christianity in general and Catholics in particular is painfully obvious. The lack of coverage afforded the slaughter of Christians in Africa is particularly appalling. Given how egregious anti-Christian prejudice is, it's unnecessary to fabricate statistics.
