Working in music is weird these days. It has been almost completely inflitrated by woke transhumanist nonsense to the point where the music is meaningless & identity is everything.
If you are a white male producer you've got an ever decreasing chance of appearing in the music press who now look for "diversity" above all else. The pendulum has swung to the point that the very people who seek diversity are promoting a total lack of it. Record labels are faced with being "cancelled" or called racist on social media if they aren't seen to have "enough black people" on their roster. As a result the watering-down process takes place with the emphasis on identity rather than the individual merits of their ability to create music that people want to hear.

Today I'll be attending a Spotify call talking about the future of live events. It's being framed in the context of "how to prepare for the future of live events", ie. there won't be any & it'll all be online. I'll be asking them some tricky questions
