Let me share something I learned the hard way after joining university:

It’s all about habits.

If you don’t have a habit—or better, a set of habits—you won’t be consistently productive at university. Sure, you might have the motivation at times, but without habits like daily reading, waking up and sleeping at a fixed time, or exercising regularly, you'll easily slip into procrastination.

You’ll find yourself studying one day and doing absolutely nothing the next. That inconsistency is dangerous.

You know the kind of student I fear?
Not the genius who studies once in a while…
But the one who shows up every single day.
The one who’s consistent. Steady. Reliable.

So if you’re about to join university, my honest advice is:
Build habits.
Before you go. Or start today.
Whether it’s studying daily, waking up at a fixed hour, reading, journaling, or just doing small tasks consistently—these are the habits that will carry you through, even when motivation fades.

ቤተሰብ ከ SRS ጋር በተያያዘ ለሚገጥማችሁ ችግር ICT office መሄድ እንዳለ ሆኖ በቅድሚያ በራሳችን ልንወስዳቸው የሚገቡ መመሪያዎችን እንመልከት።

1⃣ SRS (srs.ju.edu.et) የሚሰራው በግቢው ip adress ብቻ ነው ስለዚህ በቅድሚያ የግቢው wifi or Ethernet ማገናኘት ይጠበቅባችዃል።
tip : VPN off መሆን አለበት ያለዚያ አይሰራም

2⃣ PORTAL (portal.ju.edu.et) በየትኛውም የ internet connection ላይ ይሰራል።
tip : VPN off ብታደርጉ ይመረጣል bad adress ከሆነ አካውንታችሁ pend ሊደረግ ይችላል።

3⃣ portal እየሰራ srs ለመግባት ስትሞክሩ የማይገባ (password error የማይል) ልክ username እና password ስታስገቡ ምላሽ የማይሰጥ ከሆነ አካውንታችሁ ታግዷል ማለት ነው። ግዴታ registrar ሄዳቹ አካውንታችሁን activate ማድረግ አለባችሁ።
tip : portal እየሰራ srs ለማይሰራ

4⃣ password reset ስታደርጉ email ላይ code የማይልክ ከሆነ ራሳችሁ email መቀየር ትችላላችሁ ከዚያ በአዲሱ email ኮድ ይገባል። ይህን ለማድረግ ict office መሄድ አይጠበቅባችሁም። email ብቻ ሳይሆን phone number ጨምሮ በራሳችሁ መረጃን መቀየር ትችላላችሁ።
UAS ይባላል (user administration system) የ srs password በማስገባት መረጃችሁን update ማድረግ ትችላላችሁ። ልክ እንደ srs በግቢው network ብቻ ነው የሚሰራው።
