The two maps illustrate the extent to which the university sports court has changed since 1990. Overall, with the introduction of a new basketball court, indoor pool, and fitness center, the university sports court now offers more facilities to its visitors. However, these changes came at the cost of the leafy area and the car park, which used to be present in 1990.

In 1990, the west side of the sports court was occupied with only two places: the park and the car park. There was the reception in the middle of the map, with the small cafe in the north and the changing room in the south. While the outdoor pool was located near the cafe and the reception, the tennis courts were situated in the bottom right corner.

The map of the sports court has been transformed completely since then. A new court for basketball has been built on the top left-hand side of the map, which resulted in the disappearance of the park and trees. The tennis court has been expanded and replaced the opposite corner of the basketball court, which was previously occupied by the car park. Additionally, the outdoor pool has been converted into the indoor one to be used all seasons. Lastly, the reception and the cafe in the center of the sports court remained intact, while the changing room has been relocated next to the newly built fitness center in the southeast corner.
