What's interesting about Africa rn is that many places do be building skyscrapers and shit. Normally while being poor as fuck, there is such an uneven distribution of wealth, on one side of the country you'd have some nigger studying robotics, on the other a nigger dying from hunger. And this stuff is pretty common for example in Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Congo, etc. But what's interesting is that these high wealth areas do tend to increase national GDP and do have a certain, if not minimal global influence thanks to trade

You know, I think that what makes a country a country is the government. Nothing else really. As long as a government is in place, you can either re-use things, or make the fuck up any kind of bullshit you want and call it "history" or "language". Albania and Ukraine are great examples
