*Step 1*: Log on to the official website of NTA UGC NET -(link unavailable)
*Step 2*: Click on the answer key link available for the UGC NET exam
*Step 3*: Click on any one of the login links: Through the application number and password or the application number and date of birth
*Step 4*: Enter the application number, password/date of birth, and security pin (as shown on the screen)
*Step 5*: Click on the Sign In button
*Step 6*: Download UGC NET answer key, response sheet, and question paper

The current repo rate in India is 6.50%, as announced by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on August 8, 2024. This rate has remained unchanged since February 8, 2024

To give you a better understanding, the repo rate is the interest rate at which the RBI loans money to commercial banks. It's a crucial tool used by the RBI to manage inflation and control the flow of money in the market. When the repo rate increases, banks have to pay more interest to borrow money, which reduces their ability to lend, thereby helping to curb inflation.

Here's a quick snapshot of the current RBI rates:

- *Repo Rate*: 6.50%
- *Reverse Repo Rate*: 3.35%
- *Bank Rate*: 5.15%
- *Marginal Standing Facility Rate*: 6.75%

These rates play a significant role in determining the interest rates on loans and deposits.

- Maximum deduction: ₹1.5 lakhs
- Eligible investments:
- Life insurance premiums
- Provident Fund (PF) contributions
- Equity Linked Savings Scheme (ELSS)
- National Savings Certificate (NSC)
- Public Provident Fund (PPF)
- Sukanya Samriddhi Account
- Home loan principal repayment
- Stamp duty and registration fees

*80CCC:*

- Deduction for annuity plans/pension schemes
- Maximum deduction: ₹1.5 lakhs (combined with 80C)

*80CCD:*

- Deduction for National Pension System (NPS) contributions
- Maximum deduction: ₹1.5 lakhs (combined with 80C)
- Additional deduction: ₹50,000 (80CCD(1B))

*80D:*

- Deduction for health insurance premiums
- Maximum deduction: ₹25,000 (individual), ₹50,000 (senior citizens)

*80DD:*

- Deduction for medical expenses for disabled dependents
- Maximum deduction: ₹75,000 (₹1.25 lakhs for severe disability)

*80DDB:*

- Deduction for medical expenses for specified diseases
- Maximum deduction: ₹40,000 (₹1 lakh for senior citizens)

*80E:*

- Deduction for education loan interest
- Maximum deduction: ₹7,500 per year (up to 8 years)

*80EE:*

- Deduction for first-time homebuyers
- Maximum deduction: ₹50,000 per year (up to ₹1.5 lakhs)

*80G:*

- Deduction for charitable donations
- Maximum deduction: 10% of gross total income

*80GG:*

- Deduction for house rent paid
- Maximum deduction: ₹5,000 per month

*80GGA:*

- Deduction for donations to scientific research institutions
- Maximum deduction: 100% of donation

*80GGB:*

- Deduction for contributions to political parties
- Maximum deduction: 100% of contribution

*80U:*

- Deduction for persons with disability
- Maximum deduction: ₹75,000 (₹1.25 lakhs for severe disability)
