"A Superior Court of California judge in Santa Clara County ruled that Calvary Chapel San Jose must pay $1.2 million in fines, including interest, for violating public health orders during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency.

Judge Evette Pennypacker made the ruling last Friday citing the church's "egregious conduct." 

The judge rejected the church's argument that the public health officer's orders prevented it from exercising its religious freedom or violated the Constitution."

A large brush fire erupted in New York's Rockland County Friday afternoon, chewing through tree lines perilously close to homes and a railroad track as emergency crews hurried to evacuate impacted buildings.

Black smoke was visible for miles as fire rapidly consumed property off Old Haverstraw Road.

The train tracks seen running in the area (below) are freight tracks, and investigators say preliminary information indicates a train kicked up embers as it moved along, sparking the fire. Train traffic has been halted on the route.

Highway 304 was also said to be closed about 2 miles south of where a command post was set up. Incredibly, the massive fire appeared to have been reduced to a few hotspots -- and stretches of charred ground -- by 3:30 p.m.

Nebraska moves forward with a bill to ban medical gender transitions for children under the age of 18.

Nebraskan lawmakers in the Republican controlled state house, have advanced the bill in a 33-16 vote but held a closed-door debate to try and find a compromise with opponents of the bill who argued for the continuation of gender transitions on teens under the age of 18.

The bill mirrors a similar bill passed in Arkansas to protect children, which was temporarily blocked by federal courts citing it as “unconstitutional”. p

⚠️Three indictments were unsealed in Manhattan federal court charging 28 defendants associated with the Sinaloa Cartel, including "El Chapo"'s three sons (Los Chapitos) with fentanyl trafficking, weapons, and money laundering.
Indictments also charge top Sinaloa Cartel lieutenants and leadership; alleged fentanyl manufacturers and distributors; the managers of their armed security apparatus; money launderers who repatriate drug proceeds back to Mexico; and multiple chemical precursor suppliers in China.
One son of El Chapo, Ovidio Guzman Lopez, was arrested in Mexico.
Other defendants were arrested in Colombia, Guatemala or Greece.
All together, seven of the 28 defendants are in custody now.

'Skyrocketing' Incidents of Pilot Incapacitations Raises Red Flags About Flight Safety

There have been seven pilot incapacitations and three young pilot deaths just in the past month, reported Dr. Makis, MD.

But it's also happening to flight attendants and passengers. "In the past few weeks, there's been a large number of passengers who have either had heart attacks or medical emergencies requiring the plane to be to have an emergency landing. And several passengers have died in the last few weeks as well."
