Apple Inc. and Meta Platforms Inc. the the parent company of Facebook, provided customer data such as addresses, phone numbers, and iP addresses to hackers who masqueraded as law enforcement officials in mid -2021. The requests were provided as “emergency data requests” which do not require court orders.

It’s suspected that some of the hackers making these forged requests are minors located in the U.K. and the U.S. One is believed to be the mastermind behind the cybercrime group Lapsus$, which reportedly hacked Microsoft Corp., Samsung Electronics Co. and Nvidia Corp., among others.

Hackers affiliated with “Recursion Team”, a cybercrime group, are believed to be behind some of the forged legal requests throughout 2021,
including as part of Lapsus$.

Unearthed emails, texts, and photos from replicas of the original hard drive have revealed Hunter Biden’s business dealings, frequently involving President Joe Biden, with countries including China and Ukraine.

“I want to know where Hunter Biden’s laptop is. Where is it,” Gaetz asked. “I don’t know that answer,” replied Vorndran
