Gergo Borlai hurricane fill from ZildjianLive performance. It's a fairly simple RF + RH / LF / LH triplet but sounds awesome at a fast tempo!
For a confident performance, I propose to master this sequence first in triplets, then in sixteenths and only then in sextuplets. In order for the sixteenths offset to refer to the downbeat in each measure, play it in three-quarter time.

Для уверенного исполнения я предлагаю освоить эту последовательность сначала в триолях, потом в шестнадцатых и уже затем в секстолях. Для того, чтобы смещение шестнадцатыми обращалось в каждом такте к сильной доле, играем это в размере три четверти.

Это соло - «Rhythmania», написанное Чарльзом Уилкоксоном из его книги «Современные рудиментальные свинговые соло для продвинутого барабанщика». Стив практиковался по этой книге со своим первым учителем Билли Фланаганом в середине 60-х.
Стив трижды исполняет «ритманию», используя три разных хвата. В первый раз на он использует немецкий хват. Во второй раз Стив использует французский хват. Последний раз играет соло, используя традиционный захват.
Книга Уилкоксона, впервые опубликованная в 1941 году, была одной из наиболее широко используемых книг для барабанщиков. Steve has been practicing from some of the drum books he used with his first teacher, Billy Flanagan, in the Mid-Late '60s. This solo is "Rhythmania" written by Charles Wilcoxon from his book: Modern Rudimental Swing Solos for the Advanced Drummer.
Steve performs "Rhythmania" three times using three distinct grips. The first time, on the pad, he uses Palm-Down Matched-Grip. The second time through, on the kit, Steve uses a Matched-French-Grip. After 8 bars of "time" Steve plays the solo a final time using Traditional-Grip.
Originally published in 1941, the "Wilcoxon" book was one of the most widely used drum texts of all time. The book focused on ways to "swing" the rudiments, which was picking up on the playing styles of drummers like Buddy Rich, Louie Bellson and Gene Krupa. It has been reported that "Philly Joe" Jones and many drummers have used phrases from the Wilcoxon book in their playing.

Steve plays Charles Wilcoxon’s “Paradiddle Johnnie” at 110BPM, first on the snare drum and then on the drumset, incorporating improvisation inspired by the written solo.
The full title of the Wilcoxon book is “Modern Rudimental Swing Solos for the Advanced Drummer.” Steve interprets that to mean the solos were written to swing and not be played in the military tradition. "Stick Control" author George Lawrence Stone states in his book "Technique of Percussion" (a collection of his columns written for the International Musician Magazine), “The ancient drummer played his marching drumbeats at the cadence of 110 steps to the minute. The government standard marching cadence today is set at 120. If a drumbeat is not too involved a fair performer can play it at 128 or over, but the lilt and rhythm are apt to be lost at such speeds, even though the drummer may be able to cram in the rudiments involved.”
Steve’s experiments and discoveries regarding rudiments and tempo aligns with Stone’s perspective. Steve states, “I find that 110 feels ‘up-to-tempo’ for a swing solo like Paradiddle Johnnie. Once you approach 120BPM, and beyond, the 16thnotes flatten out and you start to lose the swing feel.”
