🔸 Status of U.S.–Iran Negotiations in Oman: U.S.-Iran talks in Oman ended yesterday, with another round expected in the coming days. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqhchi said: "The atmosphere was positive. There is an agreement to continue negotiations in general. If this track continues between the two sides, it will enable us in the upcoming sessions to establish a clearer framework for negotiations".
Araqhchi also said: "The subject of our talks is limited to the nuclear issue, and we are not conducting any dialogue with the Americans on any other subject".
Araqhchi warned: "I told the American negotiators yesterday that you have two options for us: war and diplomacy. Our choice is diplomacy, and we hope the US will choose diplomacy as well. If the US launches an attack against us, we have no ability to attack its territory. Therefore, we will attack American bases located in the region, and this will bring the entire region into war".
Iran refused U.S. calls to stop or offshore uranium enrichment during the indirect talks, while both sides agreed to keep negotiating. The discussions, mediated by Oman, showed little movement on core disagreements.
