⚠️ IRAN SIGNALS CONDITIONAL NUCLEAR TALKS WITH U.S. AS REGIONAL ACTORS URGE DEAL, WHILE ISRAEL MAINTAINS WAR READINESS AND IRANIAN COMMANDERS ISSUE DIRECT THREATS TO U.S. FORCES AMID REPORTED U.S. CARRIER REPOSITIONING
🕑 February 3, 2026 | 3:00 PM
🔸 Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said he instructed Foreign Minister Araqhchi to prepare for talks with Washington under specific conditions. He said, "I have instructed Foreign Minister Araqhchi to prepare for talks with Washington, provided the atmosphere is free from threats and unreasonable expectations. My directives to the foreign minister regarding negotiations with Washington came in response to requests from friendly governments in the region. We will hold negotiations with the US within the framework of our national interests".
🔸 Anwar Gargash, an adviser to the Emirati President, urged a nuclear agreement and warned against another U.S.–Iran clash. He said, "West Asia cannot afford another clash between the US and Iran, and Tehran must strike a nuclear agreement with Washington".
🛡️ Israeli military sources told Maariv the U.S.–Iran talks will not change Israel’s operational posture. They said, "The negotiations between Washington and Tehran do not lead us to reduce the level of preparedness of our forces for defense or offense. Our assessment is that the US will launch an attack on Iran".
⚠️ President Trump warned of consequences if no agreement is reached. He said, "If we don't reach a deal with Iran, something bad is likely to happen".
❗️ Iranian commanders issue direct warnings to the United States and highlight threats to U.S. forces. Kiumars Heidari, Deputy Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, warned the Americans: "If you do not act with prudence toward Iran and its forces, you will regret it and face a harsh response from us."
Continued Iranian threats against U.S. forces included: “The aircraft carrier is a target for us”.
The IRGC-affiliated Fars News Agency released a video featuring archival remarks by Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the late commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, in which he describes tracking U.S. vessels in the Gulf and the ability to strike them.
Hajizadeh said, "An aircraft carrier—330 meters long and 70 meters wide, with more than 6,000 crew members and around 70–80 aircraft—is a target for us. If they think that such a presence can generate capability for them in the region, it certainly puts them at a serious disadvantage. I once had a meeting in Iran with the commander of Russia’s air force, and I showed him footage from the Persian Gulf in which we fly drones over aircraft carriers. He asked me: ‘Don’t they shoot? Don’t they see you? Aren’t you afraid?’ I told him: ‘General, let them try us. If they fire, we will fire.’ The capabilities added to our forces in recent years have brought us to a point where the presence of their ships in the region has become ineffective."
⚓ Iranian media reported the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group has pulled back about 1,400 kilometers from Iran’s coast ahead of negotiations scheduled for Friday. An Iranian military intelligence officer told Fars News Agency the carrier group is now positioned near the Gulf of Aden and east of Socotra Island, off southern Yemen.

🪖 IDF APPOINTS NEW HASMONEAN BRIGADE COMMANDER AND FORMALIZES BINDING SERVICE FRAMEWORK TO EXPAND HAREDI ENLISTMENT
🕑 February 3, 2026 | 8:00 PM
🪖 Command change in the Hasmonean Brigade: The IDF held a handover ceremony in Beit She’an, appointing Col. Shemer Raviv as the new commander of the Hasmonean Brigade for ultra-Orthodox troops. Raviv previously commanded the Paran Regional Brigade along the Egyptian border and replaces Col. Avinoam Emunah.
Emunah, the brigade’s inaugural commander since its establishment in late 2024, is set to be promoted to brigadier general and will enter a new role as adviser to the IDF chief of staff on ultra-Orthodox affairs.
During the ceremony, Brig. Gen. Cohen emphasized the brigade’s unique identity and praised the outgoing commander for building a cohesive combat brigade with a strong operational spirit. The incoming commander credited his predecessor with establishing the brigade’s foundations and said he accepts responsibility while recognizing the scale of the mission and challenges ahead.
✅ The IDF completed a new General Staff directive establishing formal service arrangements for members of the Haredi community. The order was drafted with the Defense Ministry, signed by IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, and presented to Defense Minister Israel Katz.
The directive is intended to enable more ultra-Orthodox men to join the military while maintaining their level of religiosity throughout service, amid a stated manpower shortage. The IDF said the order has been under development for more than a year and replaces previous internal Personnel Directorate policy with binding, General Staff-level authority and oversight.
Three designated service tracks established The order applies only to Haredi men who enlist within three designated service tracks:
• “Magen” (Shield): Haredi soldiers serve in gender-separated teams within units that also include female troops, mostly in non-combat roles such as intelligence.
• “Herev” (Sword): Entire unit frameworks operate with gender separation, including units such as the Kfir Brigade’s Netzah Yehuda Battalion and Israeli Air Force technician units for Haredim. Commanders in this track will generally maintain a Haredi or religious lifestyle, and women may serve on the same base in other roles.
• “David”: Entire units consist of male personnel who observe a religious lifestyle. The Hasmonean Brigade is currently the only unit in this track, and any additional units require individual approval by the head of the Personnel Directorate.
The IDF clarified that Haredi soldiers who enlist in standard IDF frameworks will serve under regular military regulations and will not be entitled to the new protocols.
🔹 Additional accommodations and oversight mechanisms The directive consolidates service accommodations into a single order, including designated prayer times, kosher standards, and an alternative declaration of allegiance to the IDF instead of an oath, alongside other provisions. It also establishes a new adviser to the chief of staff on Haredi affairs to oversee service conditions, coordinate with commanders, recruitment authorities, and the Military Rabbinate, and serve as a liaison between the IDF and the Haredi public.
The IDF stated that service conditions for other populations, especially women, will not be harmed due to the integration of Haredi soldiers, except as explicitly permitted by the order.

⚠️ NETANYAHU PRESENTS IRAN RED LINES AND MILITARY OPTIONS TO U.S. ENVOY WITKOFF AS ISRAEL SEEKS FREEDOM OF ACTION AND TALKS FACE CANCELLATION THREATS
🕑 February 3, 2026 | 9:00 PM
🔸 NETANYAHU-WITKOFF MEETING ON IRAN: The meeting between Prime Minister Netanyahu and U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff lasted approximately three hours and addressed a potential agreement with Iran and related military options. Senior Israeli security officials participated, including Defense Minister Israel Katz, IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, Mossad chief David Barnea, Air Force Commander Tomer Bar, and IDF Intelligence Directorate (AMAN) chief Shlomi Binder.
Netanyahu was expected to present Israel’s list of red lines for any potential agreement with Iran, along with military options requested by President Trump. Israel also asked the U.S. for freedom of action in Iran.
The Prime Minister’s Office stated: "Ahead of Envoy Witkoff's trip to meet with an Iranian representative, the PM clarified his position that Iran has repeatedly proven it cannot be trusted to keep its promises".
An Israeli military source told Channel 14: "We warned the Americans that the Iranians will violate any agreement and that there is no point in trying to reach one. Under an agreement, they will not dismantle their nuclear or missile capabilities, and part of the reason they are trying to buy time is apparently to transfer offensive weapons to hidden locations".
Israeli officials reportedly believe Witkoff has limited understanding of nuclear matters and fear Iran will outmaneuver him in negotiations. Israel is also making intensive efforts to prevent a deal between the U.S. and Iran.
A U.S. official told Axios: "It's really the Israelis who want a strike on Iran. The President is just not there".
🔸 IRAN SIGNALS ON ISTANBUL TALKS AND FORMAT CHANGE: Iranian officials threatened that talks with the U.S. scheduled for Friday in Istanbul could be canceled. Iran is seeking to move the talks from Istanbul to Oman and make them bilateral, with discussions held only with the U.S. rather than with several Arab and Muslim countries attending as observers.
An Iranian diplomatic source told Reuters: "We are neither optimistic nor pessimistic about the Istanbul negotiations. It will depend on whether the US is ready to hold serious talks. Tehran's defense capabilities are not negotiable".
⚠️ U.S. FORCE POSTURE LINKED TO NEGOTIATION OUTCOME: A senior U.S. diplomatic source said there is a defined time limit for the current U.S. force concentration in the Middle East. The source stated: "There is a specific time limit for the presence of forces in the Middle East. Either there will be serious movement toward negotiations, or this concentration will be used militarily".
⚠️ IRAN READINESS STATEMENT: An Iranian diplomatic source told Reuters: "Iran's defensive readiness is at the highest level, and we are prepared for any scenario".

🚨 U.S. Forces Down Iranian Drone Near Carrier Group: The U.S. Navy shot down an Iranian drone that approached the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea, a U.S. official told Reuters. Reuters reported that an American F-35 fighter jet carried out the interception.
U.S. Central Command spokesman Tim Hawkins told Al Jazeera: "We will not tolerate continued Iranian harassment and threats".
A White House spokesperson said: "The U.S. Central Command acted appropriately in shooting down an Iranian drone. This week's talks with Iran are still expected to take place as planned". The spokesperson added: "President Trump always has options available, including military force, and the Iranians are well aware of this".
⚠️ After the downing of an Iranian reconnaissance drone, Iran has reportedly sent another drone to surveil the USS Abraham Lincoln Strike Group.
⚠️ Strait of Hormuz Tanker Incident Claims and Denial: Iranian gunboats reportedly attempted today to seize control of a U.S. oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz. The vessel did not comply with demands to stop and was eventually escorted by an American warship.
Iranian officials told Fars News Agency: "There is no truth to reports of a security incident in the Strait of Hormuz. These are merely allegations made by a British security company (UKMTO)".

🛡️ IDF NORTHERN COMMAND CLEARS BORDER COVER AND ASSESSES HEZBOLLAH ENTRY INTO IRAN-CONFLICT SCENARIO AS LEBANESE LEADERS CLASH OVER WAR PREVENTION AND UNIFIL REPORTS ISRAELI DRONE INCIDENT NEAR PEACEKEEPERS
🕑 February 3, 2026 | 10:00 PM
⚠️ Hezbollah and Regional Militias Signal Escalation Risk: Iranian-backed militias in the Middle East are expected to enter the battle and support Iran if Donald Trump carries out his threat and attacks.
Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qassem said: "When the West speaks of the security of Israel, they mean Greater Israel".
He added: "We are in a phase of defending our land and our very existence, as we are facing an existential aggression". He also stated: "They asked us, following the Army Command's announcement, to issue a statement ending our presence south of the Litani, and they seek to seize upon any word from us — while demanding nothing from Israel".
Nawaf Salam responded: "What he (Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qassem) is saying is that he will support Iran, but we are not going to allow it at all. We will not let anyone drag the country into a new adventure. We've had enough adventures. We entered the so-called 'Gaza support war'. Its cost to Lebanon was not only high, but it was extremely, extremely high, and no one is willing to expose the country to adventures of this kind anymore".
Joseph Aoun said: "We are working to prevent the country from being dragged into a new war".
The IDF Northern Command assesses that if the U.S. attacks Iran, Hezbollah will not stay out of the confrontation.
⚠️ Northern Border Vegetation Clearing for Security: The IDF has begun spraying herbicides near the borders with Lebanon and Syria, citing concern that dense vegetation could hide militants or intruders. IDF Northern Command decided to clear vegetation close to the border fence for security reasons.
🔹 UNIFIL Reports Drone Activity Near Peacekeepers: UNIFIL said two Israeli drones flew over its soldiers in Kafer Kela in a hostile manner, with one carrying an unknown object. UNIFIL said the drone then dropped a stun grenade that exploded about fifty meters from the peacekeepers before flying back toward Israeli territory.

🎯 IDF RETURNS FIRE AND AIRSTRIKES AFTER GAZA GUNMEN WOUND RESERVE OFFICER, ELIMINATES STONE-THROWING TERRORIST IN JERICHO AMID SMUGGLING ARRESTS AND DIPLOMATIC MOVES WITH AZERBAIJAN, SOMALILAND, AND KURDISH REPRESENTATIVES
🕑 February 4, 2026 | 8:30 AM
💥 Gaza Ceasefire Violation and IDF Response: An IDF reserve officer was seriously wounded overnight when Gazan terror operatives opened fire during operations on the Israeli side of the Yellow Line in the northern Gaza Strip. He was evacuated to a hospital and his family was notified.
After identifying the fire, IDF armored units and Israeli Air Force aircraft conducted precise strikes in the area. The IDF described the attack as a "blatant violation" of the ceasefire. Gazan media reported at least nine dead in Israeli strikes overnight, including six in northern Gaza, where the IDF said it returned fire against gunmen who attacked troops.
🚫 Gaza Governance Dispute: The Prime Minister’s Office said the logo presented to Israel for the Committee for the Management of Gaza (NCAG) was completely different from the one later published. The PMO said Israel will not accept the use of the Palestinian Authority emblem and that the Palestinian Authority will not be a partner in the management of Gaza.
❌ Jericho Stone-Throwing Attack: During operational activity in Jericho in Judea and Samaria, soldiers identified several terrorists who threw stones at forces. Troops responded with live fire, eliminating one terrorist and hitting additional terrorists.
No Israeli soldiers were injured. The Palestinian Authority health ministry identified the slain individual as Said al-Sheikh, 24, and said three others were wounded by IDF fire in the incident.
⚠️ Smuggling Cell Apprehended Near Western Border: In a joint operation involving the IDF, Israel Border Police, and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), a cell of Israeli smugglers was apprehended near the western border after being identified by IDF observation posts. Three suspects were detained following a pursuit, along with off-road vehicles and drone equipment used by them.
The suspects were transferred to the Israel Police for further processing. The IDF said it will continue operating with the security apparatus to prevent additional smuggling attempts and ensure the stability and safety of the State of Israel.
🤝 Diplomatic and Regional Developments
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu invited Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to visit Jerusalem, stating: "Send my warmest greetings to President Aliyev. We always say, 'Next year in Jerusalem' — tell him, 'This year in Jerusalem'. Let him come and visit us. He will be very warmly received".
Israel and Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of artificial intelligence. Netanyahu described it as "another step forward in building closer relations between the two countries".
Somaliland said it expects to sign a trade partnership with Israel and may offer access to mineral resources such as lithium in return for Israeli technology and investment. Talks are ongoing and no deal is final yet.
🤝 Kurdish Delegation Meeting in Jerusalem: Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Minister Amichai Chikli announced meetings in Jerusalem with representatives of DAANES/Syrian Democratic Forces. Chikli said Israel stands with the Kurdish minority in Rojava and hosted Azad Khalil at the Knesset, bringing him together with MK Afif Abed and MK Amit Halevi.
🪖 IDF Arabic Spokesperson Leadership Change: Maj. Ella Waweya has been selected to replace Col. Avichay Adraee as the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson. Waweya, known as "Captain Ella," has served in the IDF since 2013 and currently serves as Adraee’s deputy. Adraee, who served as the Arabic-language spokesman for the past 20 years, is set to retire. Waweya will be promoted to lieutenant colonel, and a handover ceremony is expected to take place in the coming weeks.

‼️ TRUMP CONSIDERS EXITING IRAN TALKS AFTER MARITIME INCIDENTS AS NEGOTIATIONS SHIFT TO OMAN, ISRAEL WARNS OF POWERFUL RETALIATION AND INTELLIGENCE SIGNALS HEZBOLLAH AND HOUTHI PREPARATIONS
🕑 February 4, 2026 | 9:30 AM
⚠️ U.S. Considers Withdrawal While Talks Continue: U.S. officials told The Wall Street Journal that President Trump considered withdrawing from negotiations due to Iran’s aggressive actions, including maritime incidents.
The Friday meeting between Iran and the United States remains scheduled, though details and the venue are still being discussed.
🔸 Talks Expected to Move to Oman: An Iranian diplomatic source told Al Jazeera that Muscat is likely to host the upcoming talks instead of Turkey.
"[Omani capital] Muscat is likely to host the upcoming talks with Washington, rather than Turkey. We thank the countries of the region for their efforts to find a solution to the dispute between Tehran and Washington and to reduce tensions".
The Trump administration reportedly agreed to an Iranian request to relocate the talks to Oman on Friday. Discussions are still ongoing over whether Arab and Muslim countries from the region will participate in the talks in Oman.
🔸 Regional Source Warns of “Last Chance” Diplomacy: A Middle Eastern source said negotiations could be Iran’s final opportunity for diplomacy before potential strikes. The source added, “Striking Iran is a lose-lose for all.”
🚫 A U.S. official said the IRGC canceled a live-fire exercise planned for Sunday and Monday in the Strait of Hormuz after a warning from the U.S. military.
‼️ Israel Briefs Witkoff, Warns of Unusually Powerful Retaliation: Sources familiar with the meeting between U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Prime Minister Netanyahu, and Israel’s security establishment said it was conducted in an extremely positive and productive atmosphere. The meeting included a thorough intelligence briefing led by IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir.
Israeli officials warned in the meeting that Iran has no intention of compromising on its nuclear ambitions and that negotiations are being used to buy time and stop an attack. Zamir said that any strike against Israel would be met with an immediate and unusually powerful response, including strikes against unexpected targets.
‼️ The IDF Northern Command assesses that if the United States attacks Iran, Hezbollah will join the war.
⚠️ Intelligence Warns of Houthi Preparations to Resume Attacks on U.S. Ships: Intelligence passed to Washington warns the Iran-backed Houthis are preparing to resume attacks on U.S. ships in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea. Yemeni sources say the Houthis are relocating missile and drone depots and holding intensive military discussions, reportedly in preparation for possible strikes on U.S. vessels as Iran ramps up threats through its terror proxies.
Notably, the Houthis have avoided attacking U.S. ships since a May agreement brokered by Oman following months of American strikes.

🚨 U.S.-IRAN NUCLEAR TALKS COLLAPSE AFTER TEHRAN REFUSES MISSILE AND PROXY DISCUSSIONS AS PRESIDENT TRUMP THREATENS MILITARY ACTION AND ISRAEL SIGNALS PREPARATIONS TO STRIKE IRAN’S NUCLEAR AND BALLISTIC MISSILE PROGRAMS
🕑 February 4, 2026 | 9:30 PM
‼️ US-Iran Talks Collapse Over Scope of Negotiations: Nuclear talks planned for Friday were canceled after Iran refused to expand discussions beyond the nuclear issue. US officials rejected Iran’s request to change the location and format of the talks, including moving them from Istanbul to Muscat and excluding ballistic missiles and proxy network issues.
A senior US official told Axios: "We told them 'it is this or nothing', and they said, 'Ok, then nothing'." The official added: "If the Iranians are willing to go back to the original format, the U.S. is ready to meet this week or next week. We want to reach a real deal quickly or people will look at other options".
Senior US officials told Israeli Channel 12 that the talks were canceled due to Iran’s refusal to discuss non-nuclear issues.
Iranian officials reiterated that they will only negotiate the nuclear file. A senior Iranian official told Reuters: "Talks with the US in Oman will focus only on the nuclear issue — the missile program is not on the table". An Iranian official told Reuters: "The American insistence on discussing non-nuclear issues puts the talks at risk. Tehran is fully prepared to hold talks with Washington solely on the nuclear issue".
Iranian sources told Al-Araby that mediators are making efforts to resolve the situation and that contacts are still ongoing. An Iranian source told al-Mayadeen: "The US-Iran talks collapsed – it's a gap that cannot be bridged," adding, "We will not allow the raising of demands outside the framework of the nuclear issue in negotiations with Washington. Iran is still ready to negotiate. Iran is more prepared militarily than diplomatically, and its finger is on the trigger".
🚨 President Trump Issues Direct Warnings to Iran: President Trump said: "[Iranian Supreme Leader] Khamenei should be worried". He also said: "I heard that Iran is trying to restart its nuclear program, and we will send fighter jets again if they do that".
President Trump added: "We discovered that the Iranians were planning to build a new nuclear site in another area. We found out about it. I said, 'If you do that, we're going to do very bad things to you'".
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said: "For talks to lead to something significant, they must also address Iran's ballistic missile program". Rubio added: "I'm not sure if we'll be able to reach an agreement with the Iranians".
US officials told Reuters: "President Trump is now leaning towards military action in Iran".
⚠️ Israel Signals Readiness to Strike Iranian Strategic Programs: After the collapse of talks, Israeli officials estimate a high chance of a US attack on Iran. Arab mediators tried this evening to persuade Iran to agree to discuss additional issues, but Iranian officials had already told them yesterday that they are only ready to discuss the nuclear issue.
Israeli assessments state that Israel will attack Iran’s ballistic missile program at the first operational opportunity. Israeli assessments also state that Israel intends to target every component of Iran’s nuclear project, with expectations that the IDF will strike sooner or later.

⚠️ US-IRAN TALKS PROCEED IN OMAN AMID IRAN SHIFT TO OFFENSIVE DOCTRINE, U.S. PREPARES ADDITIONAL CARRIER DEPLOYMENT AND REGIONAL CAMPAIGN, IDF UPDATES YEMEN TARGET BANK AS HOUTHI THREATS RISE
🕑 February 4, 2026 | 10:30 PM
🔸 US-IRAN TALKS AND REGIONAL PRESSURE: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqhchi: "Nuclear talks with the US are scheduled to be held in Muscat on about 10 am Friday. I'm grateful to our Omani brothers for making all necessary arrangements".
The U.S. agreed to hold talks in Oman on Friday following heavy pressure from Arab and Muslim state leaders, after at least nine Middle Eastern countries urged the Trump administration not to cancel the meeting.
An Iranian Member of Parliament appealed to Araqhchi: "Mr. Araghchi, we expect a preemptive attack on the enemy, not negotiations."
An Iranian official told Tasnim News Agency: "The Americans are constantly changing their statements, and the crisis is not about changing the venue of the talks. Diplomacy requires steadfastness of opinion and seriousness, not constant change influenced by Israel's war-mongering tendencies".
The White House told Al Jazeera: "Nothing so far about the negotiations with Iran, and the situation might change by the end of the day".
⚠️ IRAN MILITARY POSTURE AND SIGNALS: Iranian Chief of Staff Abdolrahim Mousavi: "We have changed our military doctrine from defense to offense, and we adopt a policy of asymmetric warfare. We are ready for any action by our enemies".
Iranian state television canceled a planned broadcast presenting a new missile complex, citing "security and military considerations".
♟️ US FORCE BUILDUP AND CAMPAIGN PREPARATION: Israel assesses that the United States is seeking to assemble additional forces in the region ahead of a potential strike on Iran.
U.S. officials are working to deploy another aircraft carrier to the area, citing a view that current aircraft levels are insufficient. They assess the buildup is intended for a broader campaign rather than one or two strikes.
NATO Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany has reportedly shifted to 24/7 operations as the operational tempo supporting movements to the Middle East increases.
‼️ HOUTHI THREAT AND ISRAELI PREPARATIONS: Anti-Houthi Yemeni sources provided intelligence to the United States warning that the Houthis are preparing to resume attacks on U.S. ships in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea if Washington attacks Iran.
According to the intelligence, the Houthis are relocating missile and drone depots and holding intensive military discussions in preparation for potential strikes on U.S. vessels.
Israel is preparing for a potential renewed attack from Yemen if the United States launches military action against Iran. IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir held discussions on the Houthi issue and instructed the IDF to update the target bank in Yemen, in coordination with the Intelligence Directorate and the Air Force.
🇮🇱 ISRAELI LEADERSHIP COORDINATION: Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Press Office announced a security cabinet meeting for tomorrow.

⚠️ ISRAEL INTEGRATES ADVANCED DEFENSIVE SYSTEMS INTO NEW CH-53K FLEET, EXPANDS OFFICER SECURITY AND REGIONAL LIAISON ROLES, CONTINUES HEZBOLLAH TARGETING IN LEBANON AMID IRAN TENSIONS
🚁 Defense Ministry Signs Major CH-53K Upgrade Deal: Israel’s Ministry of Defense signed a deal worth over ₪400 million with Elbit Systems to integrate advanced Israeli technologies into the new CH-53K “Pere” heavy transport helicopters. The package includes command and control, avionics, electronic warfare, warning systems, and advanced missile defense (DIRCM).
The upgrades will be installed on 12 helicopters purchased to replace the aging Yasur fleet. The helicopters were acquired through a U.S. Foreign Military Sales agreement and are currently being assembled by Lockheed Martin-Sikorsky in Connecticut before a dedicated Israeli modification process integrates operational systems tailored to Israeli Air Force mission requirements.
The upgrades are expected to improve cockpit capabilities and support safer operations in complex environments. They are also intended to enhance landing zone identification and obstacle detection.
Defense officials said the project is a key part of Israel’s multi-year force-build plan, including new aircraft, refueling platforms, and advanced weapons systems. They added that integrating Israeli technologies is intended to maintain operational superiority, strengthen domestic defense industry capabilities, ensure supply continuity, and enhance pilot safety and mission performance.
⚠️ Security Increased for Israeli Officers Amid Iran Threats: Amid concerns over retaliation by Iran and allied groups following Israeli assassinations, a significant number of Israeli officers have received enhanced security protection. The IDF also decided to expand the unit responsible for safeguarding senior military officers and Israeli military delegations abroad.
🗣️ U.S. Requests Restraint Toward Iran During Negotiations: The United States asked Israel to refrain from attacking Iran while negotiations remain ongoing.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said: "The situation with Iran is on the verge of an explosion that will engulf the entire Middle East".
💱A recent Shin Bet report said security forces detected Israelis who initiated contact with Iranian agents and offered to work for them in exchange for money.
⚠️ Hezbollah-Linked Report Cites Syrian Threat and Border Concerns: Hezbollah-affiliated outlet Al-Akhbar reported that Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa told close associates during a closed meeting: "Hezbollah's turn has come; we will not forget our revenge".
The report said Beirut fears potential military activity along the Lebanese–Syrian border and the possibility that a strike on Iran could be exploited to open a new front against Lebanon.
🎯 IDF Operations Continue in Southern Lebanon Against Hezbollah Rebuild Efforts: Troops are operating in southern Lebanon to prevent Hezbollah from reestablishing capabilities. This year, the unit’s troops eliminated approximately 60 Hezbollah terrorists and dismantled dozens of terrorist structures, weapons storage facilities, and observation posts.
The unit’s observation command centers also assisted in directing ground and aerial fire in hundreds of focused operations in southern Lebanon.
🔹 IDF Establishes Druze Regional Liaison Role: The IDF is establishing a new liaison position to manage relations with Druze communities in the Middle East, particularly in Syria and Lebanon. Major General Ghassan Alian, who is of Druze origin, has been appointed to the role under the IDF Northern Command.
❌ IDF Apprehends Two Terrorists in al-Am'ari Area: Overnight, IDF soldiers operated in the al-Am'ari area and apprehended two terrorists involved in terrorist activity throughout the war. The suspects were transferred to security forces for further questioning, and the IDF said it will continue to act to thwart terrorism across Judea and Samaria.

❗️ISRAEL POLICE AND SHIN BET DISMANTLE GAZA AID-ROUTE SMUGGLING NETWORK WITH INDICTMENTS FILED AS ISRAELI SUSPECTS ARRESTED AND SENTENCED IN SEPARATE IRANIAN ESPIONAGE CASES
🕑 February 5, 2026 | 3:00 PM
⚖️ Israeli authorities announced the completion of an investigation into a coordinated smuggling network that exploited ceasefire humanitarian aid routes to transfer prohibited goods into Gaza. The joint Shin Bet and Israel Police operation led to the arrest of Israeli citizens, residents of Judea and Samaria, and Gaza residents suspected of organizing and executing smuggling operations. Investigators said the suspects used the large-scale aid flow during the ceasefire to move prohibited goods through multiple channels, despite awareness that such activity could directly strengthen terrorist organizations, particularly Hamas.
Authorities stated that interrogations uncovered a broad, organized infrastructure involving dozens of individuals who coordinated the smuggling of goods and equipment into Gaza. Security officials warned that such operations provide financial and logistical support that helps Hamas and other terrorist organizations rebuild military and civilian infrastructure, restore command-and-control capabilities, recruit and train operatives, and potentially establish routes that could later be used for weapons smuggling or operational attacks against Israeli forces.
The State Prosecutor’s Office filed indictments against 12 suspects and a company allegedly involved in the operation. Charges include assisting the enemy during wartime, dealing in property for terrorism-related purposes, aggravated fraud, bribery, tax offenses, and additional economic crimes. Prosecutors also requested asset confiscation linked to the alleged profits generated through the smuggling network.
The case includes Bezalel Zini, brother of the head of the Shin Bet, with a separate indictment expected. According to prosecutors, Zini, a reservist involved in logistical support for convoy operations entering Gaza, allegedly carried out three cigarette-smuggling operations through the Sufa crossing, receiving approximately 365,000 shekels. Additional suspects include reservist Aviel Ben David and Amir Dov Halperin, who are accused of multiple smuggling operations totaling millions of shekels, with profits allegedly shared among network members. Prosecutors stated the defendants knowingly bypassed wartime restrictions and understood that the goods could reach Hamas or its agents. Zini’s detention has been extended for two additional weeks while legal proceedings continue.
❗️ Two Israelis arrested for espionage on behalf of Iran: Authorities arrested two 20-year-old Israeli residents from the Jerusalem area on suspicion of spying for Iranian intelligence. The suspects allegedly received payments through digital wallets in exchange for their activities.
⚖️ Beit Shemesh resident sentenced in separate Iran espionage case: Elimelech Stern from Beit Shemesh was sentenced to three years in prison after being convicted of spying for Iran.

🎯 IDF ELIMINATES HAMAS NUKHBA COMMANDER INVOLVED IN OCTOBER 7 MASSACRE, ISLAMIC JIHAD NORTHERN GAZA BRIGADE COMMANDER, AND HAMAS CELL HEAD RESPONSIBLE FOR MURDER OF IDF OBSERVER AMID CEASEFIRE VIOLATIONS
🎯 Multiple terrorist operatives eliminated in Gaza operations: IDF troops operating in southern Gaza identified a terrorist who approached the Yellow Line and moved toward the forces, posing an imminent threat. Guided by ground troops, the IDF eliminated the terrorist to remove the danger.
The IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) said Israeli forces carried out a targeted strike in southern Gaza eliminating Hamas terrorist Bilal Abu Assi, a Nukhba platoon commander who led the infiltration into Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October 7 massacre. The operation followed what the IDF described as a blatant overnight ceasefire violation in northern Gaza, during which terrorists opened fire on IDF troops and severely wounded a reserve officer.
According to the joint statement, Abu Assi played a central role in the October 7 attack that resulted in the murder and abduction of dozens of civilians. The IDF assesses he likely participated in holding deceased hostages during the war and continued directing attacks against Israeli forces throughout the conflict.
The IDF acknowledged reports that uninvolved civilians, including a medical staff member, may have been harmed in the strike. The military said it used surveillance and precision munitions to reduce civilian casualties and expressed regret for any unintended harm.
In a separate targeted strike, the IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) announced the elimination of Ali Raziana, Commander of the Islamic Jihad Northern Gaza Brigade. They said Raziana directed terrorist deployments, oversaw the brigade’s defensive combat strategy, served on the organization’s military council, and coordinated with Hamas to advance and execute attacks against IDF forces.
The statement said that during the war Raziana oversaw the captivity of hostages held by Islamic Jihad in northern Gaza. Since the ceasefire began, he had been working to rebuild and restore the brigade’s operational capabilities.
The IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) also announced the elimination of Muhammad Issam Hassan al-Habil, head of a Hamas terrorist cell, following Hamas’ overnight ceasefire violation. According to Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) interrogations, al-Habil brutally murdered IDF observer Corporal Noa Marciano while she was held hostage in Gaza after being abducted from the Nahal Oz outpost during the October 7 Hamas massacre.
The IDF said intelligence gathered by Gaza Division 143, where Marciano served, helped locate and target the terrorist. Israeli security officials said the operation represents a measure of justice for Marciano’s family and that forces will continue operating against terrorist operatives and infrastructure in Gaza in response to attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers, while continuing efforts to minimize civilian harm.
❗️ IDF releases footage showing Hamas exploitation of ambulances for terrorism: During IDF activity in the Jabaliya area of northern Gaza, routine drone surveillance along the Yellow Line documented armed Hamas terrorists repeatedly using ambulances to transport terrorists and weapons from a hospital to a school.
The IDF said this is further evidence of systematic exploitation of emergency systems and medical infrastructure by Hamas, including disguising operatives as civilians to advance terrorist activity. The military said it will continue to act in accordance with international law regarding medical facilities and educational institutions, despite Hamas embedding terrorist infrastructure within them.
⚠️ Defense Minister warns Hamas to disarm: Defense Minister Israel Katz said, "If Hamas does not disarm in accordance with the agreed framework, we will dismantle it and all of its capabilities".

🛡️ U.S. BUILDS MILITARY PRESSURE AND OPENS OMAN TALKS WITH IRAN AS ISRAEL PREPARES POTENTIAL STRIKE ON IRANIAN MISSILE PROGRAM, IRGC SEIZES FUEL TANKERS IN GULF, AND IDF STRIKES HEZBOLLAH TARGETS IN LEBANON
🕑 February 5, 2026 | 7:00 PM
‼️ U.S. military pressure and negotiations with Iran: U.S. President Trump said, "Iran is negotiating today because they are afraid of our fleet. We have a large fleet heading there. Iran is negotiating today because they don't want to be hit. They don't want us to hit them". The U.S. military also released footage from the aircraft carrier Lincoln.
The U.S. and Iran made small concessions and agreed to hold talks in Oman, meet directly, focus on the nuclear program, and also discuss missiles and militant groups toward a possible deal. Iranian officials denied agreeing to talks on the ballistic missile program and support for militant groups, insisting negotiations should focus solely on the nuclear program.
⚠️ Israeli leadership discussions and military posture toward Iran: Israel’s cabinet is scheduled to convene today to discuss Iran. The vote on the Arrangements Law was postponed to Monday under pressure from the ultra-Orthodox parties, who are demanding progress on the Draft Law.
According to participants in a Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee discussion, Prime Minister Netanyahu said there is a gathering of a critical mass to bring down the Iranian regime but that he does not know if it is enough to achieve a result. He said Israel is prepared for a very harsh blow against Iran, far beyond what was done in Operation Protective Edge, and added he does not know what Trump will ultimately decide to do, but that they are in very close contact at all levels.
Regarding Egypt, Netanyahu said Egypt’s army is strengthening and that Israel must closely monitor and prevent an arms buildup. Merav Michaeli quipped: we won’t allow Egypt to strengthen, except when it comes to purchasing submarines.
✅ Israeli Channel 14 journalist Yaakov Bardugo said the U.S. has given Israel the "green light" to take action against Iran's ballistic missile program. According to him, Israel may act independently.
❗️ Iranian military messaging and IRGC maritime enforcement: Iranian Army Spokesman Mohammad Akraminia said, "It is easy for our armed forces to reach American bases, which further weakens them. Our message is clear and we have repeatedly stated it: we are fully prepared to defend Iran with determination and seriousness".
🛢️ The IRGC seized two oil tankers in the Gulf that were allegedly carrying over one million liters of smuggled fuel and detained 15 foreign crew members.
💥 IDF strikes Hezbollah targets in Lebanon: The Israeli Air Force carried out a series of airstrikes on southern Lebanon. In response to Hezbollah’s repeated violations of the ceasefire understandings, the IDF is striking Hezbollah terror targets in several areas in Lebanon.

⚠️ U.S. OPENS TALKS WITH IRAN IN OMAN AS WASHINGTON SETS ENRICHMENT BAN AND MISSILE LIMIT DEMANDS WHILE ISSUING “LEAVE IRAN NOW” ALERT AND IRGC CONDUCTS MISSILE TESTS
🕑 February 6, 2026 | 10:00 AM
🔸 U.S.-Iran negotiations begin in Muscat: Negotiations between the United States and Iran have begun in Muscat, Oman. The talks were slightly delayed, according to Al Jazeera.
Iran’s foreign minister met with Oman’s foreign minister, who is expected to move between rooms to meet separately with U.S. envoy Witkoff.
CENTCOM Commander Brad Cooper has arrived in Muscat and will join the negotiations, according to WSJ.
⚠️ Reported U.S. demands and Israel’s assessment: Reported U.S. demands include a complete ban on uranium enrichment, limiting missile range to 500 km, and ending support for regional terror proxies, including Hezbollah.
A senior Israeli official said the U.S. has clear red lines and will not capitulate. Israel assesses the talks in Oman will fail.
🚨 U.S. issues fresh “Leave Iran now” alert
The U.S. has issued a new alert urging Americans in Iran to depart immediately, without relying on U.S. government assistance. The guidance recommends leaving by land via Türkiye or Armenia when possible, or sheltering in place if unable to depart.
The U.S. government warned of escalating nationwide security measures across Iran, including road closures, public transportation disruptions, internet blockages, and restrictions on mobile, landline, and national internet networks. Airlines continue limiting or canceling flights to and from Iran.
U.S. citizens are advised to expect ongoing communication outages and to prepare alternative methods of contact. Those remaining in Iran are advised to secure shelter, stock essential supplies including food, water, and medications, avoid demonstrations, maintain a low public profile, monitor local media, and keep communication devices charged while staying in contact with family. Americans are also encouraged to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) for updates.
🚀 The IRGC is conducting missile tests as negotiations between Iran and the United States continue.
🏗️ Executions reported across multiple Iranian prisons: At least 15 prisoners were executed Thursday in multiple prisons across Iran, according to the U.S.-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA).
HRANA said the executions took place at dawn in prisons including Mashhad, Bushehr, Sari, and Mahshahr. It said those executed had been convicted of murder or drug-related crimes.

⚠️ IDF COUNTERTERROR OPERATIONS ACROSS JUDEA AND SAMARIA; STRIKES IN GAZA AND LEBANON FOLLOW CEASEFIRE VIOLATIONS; ISRAELI CIVILIANS APPREHENDED AFTER CROSSING INTO GAZA; TURKEY ARRESTS TWO ALLEGED MOSSAD SPIES
🕑 February 6, 2026 | 1:00 PM
🪖 IDF OPERATIONS IN JUDEA AND SAMARIA: IDF forces conducted coordinated counter-terror operations across Judea and Samaria, arresting approximately 60 wanted suspects and seizing firearms, weapon parts, and terror-related equipment.
In the Menasha Brigade sector, troops arrested 15 suspects, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad operatives involved in manufacturing explosives. Forces seized M16 rifles, weapon components, and military equipment.
In the Etzion Brigade sector, security forces carried out over 100 offensive counter-terror activities and demolished the home of the terrorist responsible for the deadly Gush Junction attack that killed Shalev Zablouni. Additional weapons, including an M16 rifle, were confiscated.
In the Binyamin and Ephraim Brigade sectors, forces conducted targeted raids in Beit Liqya and Qalqilya, arresting suspects linked to weapons trafficking and Hamas activity.
In the Judea Brigade sector, battalion-level operations in Hebron and nearby villages led to the seizure of a handgun, ammunition, and funds designated for terror financing.
In the Shomron Brigade sector, forces operated in multiple locations, including Burqa, questioned dozens of suspects, and confiscated weapon parts and Hamas flags.
💥 Gaza Ceasefire Violation and IDF Strike: Terrorists fired shots toward IDF troops operating in the northern Gaza Strip near the Yellow Line. No IDF injuries were reported.
The terrorists' fire constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement. In response, the IDF precisely struck terror infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
🇮🇱 Israeli Civilians Apprehended Near Gaza Border: Hundreds of Israeli settlers from the Nachala organization protested near the Gaza border inside a closed military zone to demand the reestablishment of settlements evacuated in 2005.
IDF troops and police were dispatched after some protesters crossed into the Gaza Strip. A number of Israeli civilians crossed from Israeli territory into Gaza, were apprehended, and returned safely to Israeli territory before being transferred to the Israel Police for further handling.
Over the last several hours, hundreds of Israeli civilians attempted to approach the border fence located inside the closed military zone where civilian entry is prohibited. IDF troops and the Israel Police are deployed in the area and are operating to prevent civilians from approaching or crossing the fence.
The IDF stated that approaching the border fence and crossing into the Gaza Strip is dangerous and disrupts security forces’ operational activity in the area. The IDF strongly condemned actions that divert commanders and soldiers from their primary mission of defense and counterterrorism.
💥 IDF Strikes Hezbollah Sites in Lebanon: Last night, the IDF struck tunnel shafts used for weapons storage at several Hezbollah military sites across Lebanon. Following the strikes, secondary explosions were identified, indicating the presence of weapons in the area.
Over the past several months, Hezbollah terrorist activity was identified at the sites, constituting a violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
▪️ Turkey Arrests Two Individuals Accused of Spying for Mossad: The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) announced the arrest of two individuals in Istanbul for allegedly spying on behalf of the Israeli intelligence service Mossad.
The individuals were reportedly recruited in January 2013 and collected information on Palestinians and Palestinian activists in Turkey and several undisclosed European countries between 2013 and 2026.
