❗️PRESIDENT TRUMP WARNS IRAN OF TOTAL DESTRUCTION OVER ANY ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT AS U.S. REVIEWS DECISIVE MILITARY OPTIONS; U.S. AIR FORCE KC-135 TANKERS AND U.S. “DOOMSDAY PLANE” MOVE TOWARD EUROPE AMID HEIGHTENED STRATEGIC READINESS
🕑 January 21, 2026 | 7:30 AM
⚠️ Direct Warning from President Trump: President Trump warned Iran of a devastating response to any assassination attempt against him and said he has issued firm orders that Iran would face total destruction if he is targeted. Asked about repeated threats from the Iranian regime, Trump said: “Well, they shouldn't be doing it, but I've left a notification. If anything happens [to me], the whole country is gonna get blown up.”
♟️ U.S. Military Options Under Review: The Wall Street Journal reported that President Trump is seeking what he describes as “decisive” options regarding the Islamic Republic. According to the report, Pentagon and White House officials are reviewing a range of scenarios, including the overthrow of the Islamic Republic and more limited options such as strikes on IRGC facilities. U.S. officials said Trump has not yet ordered an attack on Iran and that a final decision has not been made.
Former U.S. officials and experts cited in the report raised questions about whether a foreign regime can be overthrown solely through airstrikes and whether the United States is prepared for a long-term military campaign. The report notes that such a campaign, particularly if protests resume inside Iran and demonstrators call for Trump’s support, could extend for weeks or months. As stated in the report: “After pulling back from strikes on Iran last week, President Trump is still pressing aides for what he terms ‘decisive’ military options. Trump has repeatedly used the word ‘decisive’ when describing what effect he would like any U.S. action to have on Iran.”
✈️ U.S. aerial refueling deployments underway: Six United States Air Force KC-135R aerial refueling aircraft are moving from March Air Reserve Base in California and Bangor Air National Guard Base in Maine, preparing to cross the Atlantic air bridge toward the European Union. Several are reported to be destined for Morón Air Base in Spain.
🛰️ Strategic command aircraft movement observed: The U.S. “Doomsday Plane,” a modified Boeing 747 designed for strategic command operations, has also been observed flying toward Europe. Three additional KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft have been seen heading in the same direction, indicating increased aerial refueling activity and operational readiness.
🚢 U.S. Force Posture and Iranian Activity: An American report said the aircraft carrier George Bush has been instructed to prepare for movement toward the Middle East.
🚀 Separately, new images reportedly show the Iranian regime transporting missiles and drones across Iran overnight.

🕑 January 21, 2026 | 12:00 PM
✈️ U.S. Air Force Aerial Refueling Movements: Over the past several hours, 13 U.S. aerial refueling aircraft departed the continental United States toward Europe. The aircraft include 10 KC-135R Stratotankers and 3 KC-46A Pegasus tankers, reportedly in support of President Trump’s Davos visit. It is currently unknown whether these flights are supporting or repositioning any accompanying fast air assets.
A separate set of departures was also reported overnight, with more than 10 additional KC-135 Stratotankers leaving the United States for bases in the Middle East. Reported destinations include Morón Air Base in Spain, Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, and RAF Mildenhall in the United Kingdom. One tanker’s destination remains unconfirmed.
🚢 Carrier Deployment and Regional Posture: A broader U.S. military buildup is underway in the Middle East, including the deployment of a U.S. Carrier Strike Group to the region. This Carrier Strike Group was previously used to help protect Israel from Iranian missile attacks during the 12-day war.
The USS Lincoln is expected to reach the Middle East and be within strike range by January 23. According to the information provided, President Trump previously postponed a strike earlier last week due to concerns that the United States did not have sufficient assets in place to protect its own regional bases in the event of an Iranian retaliation.
🛡️ U.S. Air and Missile Defense Reinforcements: U.S. officials say additional air defenses are being sent to the Middle East, including more Patriot and THAAD missile-defense systems, according to The Wall Street Journal.
⚠️ Iranian Foreign Minister Issues Threat: In an interview with The New York Times, Iran’s foreign minister warned that this time the regime will not show “restraint” and that, in an attempt to survive, it will fire back “with all that it has!”
Iran has warned that if struck, it would retaliate more forcefully than during the 12-day war, which resulted in significant damage and casualties in Israel.
♟️ Israeli Intelligence Monitoring Iran: Two Israeli security sources told Yedioth Ahronoth that the Israeli intelligence service Mossad is making continuous efforts to gather information about developments inside Iran.
🛜 Internet Disruption Inside Iran continues: NetBlocks reports that the internet disconnection in Iran has now lasted for more than 300 hours.

🔹 IDF CHIEF REVIEWS IAF READINESS AT NEVATIM AS F-35I FLEET EXPANDS AND STRATEGIC AIRLIFT TO REGION CONTINUES
🕑 January 21, 2026 | 3:30 PM
✈️ IAF READINESS AND FORCE BUILDUP: IDF Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir visited Nevatim Air Base with senior Air Force commanders to review operational readiness, preparedness for sudden escalation, and the ongoing integration of the F-35I “Adir” fighter jet. He said the Israeli Air Force is the IDF’s strategic arm and can strike powerfully in any arena that threatens Israel’s security.
Zamir told pilots that over the past two years of combat, including Operation “Rising Lion,” IAF aircrews have been at the forefront of both offensive and defensive operations in near and distant theaters. He said the operational experience accumulated during the war is unmatched globally and is being systematically analyzed and applied to strengthen Israel’s long-term security.
He confirmed that three additional F-35I “Adir” aircraft joined the Air Force this week, calling their integration a significant milestone in enhancing operational power. Zamir said that, in close coordination with the Intelligence Directorate, IAF pilots continue conducting strikes across the Middle East to remove threats and protect Israeli civilians, and that the IDF remains prepared for a wide range of scenarios.
🛫 STRATEGIC AIRLIFT AND REGIONAL MOVEMENTS: A second cargo flight operated today from the UAE to Israel. A Fly Pro Airlines Boeing 747-243F freighter, registered as ER-BAR and flying under callsign FP9415, departed Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai and landed at Ben Gurion Airport.
Over the past five days, 29 C-17 military transport aircraft and 12 refueling tankers have arrived in the Middle East, particularly in Qatar and Jordan. The tanker movements observed overnight were direct to the Middle East arena rather than stopping at RAF Mildenhall in the UK.
🔶 In parallel, Witkoff said they are negotiating with Iran.

❗️ISRAELI SECURITY FORCES DETAIN SENIOR EXPLOSIVES MANUFACTURER IN TULKAREM, ISSUE EVACUATION WARNINGS AHEAD OF HEZBOLLAH STRIKES, AND DISCIPLINE DUVDEVAN COMMANDERS AFTER NEAR FRIENDLY FIRE INCIDENT
🕑 January 21, 2026 | 04:30 PM
❌ ARREST OF SENIOR EXPLOSIVES MANUFACTURER IN JUDEA AND SAMARIA: Border Police officers detained a Palestinian explosive device manufacturer near Tulkarem in Judea and Samaria, Israeli security forces said. The suspect, Fadi Bahti, was described by police, the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), and the IDF as a central explosives manufacturer in a terror network based in the Tulkarem area. Border Police raided Bahti’s home in the town of Shuweika and detained him. He was then transferred to the Shin Bet for further interrogation.
⚠️ IDF WARNS SOUTHERN LEBANON RESIDENTS AHEAD OF HEZBOLLAH STRIKES: The IDF issued evacuation warnings to residents of several towns in southern Lebanon ahead of airstrikes against Hezbollah infrastructure. “The IDF will attack military infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah terror organization to address its prohibited attempts to rebuild its activities in the area,” said IDF Arabic-language spokesman Col. Avichay Adraee. The IDF published maps marking sites to be targeted in Qennarit, Kfour, and Jarjouaa. “You are located near buildings used by Hezbollah, and for your own safety you must evacuate them immediately and move at least 300 meters away,” Adraee said.
🪖 DUVDEVAN COMMANDERS DISMISSED AND CENSURED AFTER NEAR FRIENDLY FIRE: The incident took place during a January 11 arrest raid in Nablus, when Duvdevan forces working to detain Palestinians suspected of terror activity mistakenly identified another team from the same unit positioned on a nearby rooftop as an enemy force and opened fire on the building, the IDF said. No injuries were reported. The incident was reported immediately and investigated, with findings later presented to Central Command chief Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth. The probe found that a navigation error led one force to enter a building within the operational sector of a neighboring squadron, triggering the misidentification. The IDF said no additional means were used beyond gunfire toward the structure and the forces were not ultimately in each other’s line of fire. A team commander and a team sergeant were removed from their roles, the latter for opening fire against regulations, while the Duvdevan deputy commander, a squadron commander and deputy, another team commander, and an additional soldier were formally censured. The IDF said operational lessons were implemented and procedures tightened following the incident.

💥 IDF ENFORCES CEASEFIRE RED LINES IN SOUTHERN LEBANON WITH STRIKES ON HEZBOLLAH TARGETS, ELIMINATION OF LIAISON OFFICER ABU ALI SALAMEH, AND PRE-STRIKE EVACUATION WARNINGS IN KHARAYEB AND ANSAR
🕑 January 21, 2026 | 5:30 PM
💥 A short while ago, in response to repeated violations of the ceasefire understandings by Hezbollah, the IDF launched strikes on Hezbollah terror targets in southern Lebanon.
After issuing evacuation warnings in southern Lebanon, the IDF carried out a wave of strikes against Hezbollah sites.
Footage published by Lebanese media shows one of the Israeli strikes hitting a Hezbollah site in the southern Lebanese village of Qennarit
⚠️ Once again, the IDF issued new evacuation warnings in southern Lebanon ahead of strikes on Hezbollah targets.
Residents of the towns of Kharayeb and Ansar were instructed to evacuate at least 300 meters from specific buildings marked on a map published by Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman.
The warnings were issued as the IDF carried out a wave of strikes against Hezbollah sites, after evacuation instructions were given earlier in three other Lebanese towns.
🎯 A short while ago, the IDF struck and eliminated the terrorist Abu Ali Salameh, a Hezbollah liaison officer, in the village of Yanouh in southern Lebanon in the Tyre area. The IDF says he was targeted while driving on a road near the coastal Lebanese city.
According to the IDF, Salameh managed Hezbollah’s activities in Yanouh, enabling the organization to operate within civilian areas and private properties and to embed terrorist infrastructure in the heart of the population through the deliberate exploitation of residents.
On December 13, 2025, Israel submitted a request via the US-led ceasefire oversight and enforcement mechanism for the Lebanese Armed Forces to act against a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in Yanouh. The IDF says Salameh received the report from the Lebanese Armed Forces and passed it on to additional Hezbollah operatives.
"Upon the arrival of the Lebanese Armed Forces, Hezbollah terrorists prevented them from dismantling the infrastructure by creating a gathering that enabled Hezbollah to move the weapons out of the property," the military says.
The IDF says it issued an evacuation warning ahead of a planned strike on the site, then postponed the strike after the Lebanese Armed Forces arrived in an attempt to dismantle the weapons cache.
The military says Salameh then coordinated with the Lebanese Armed Forces to document the site without the weapons, "thereby claiming that the site was empty."
"During the Lebanese Armed Forces' operation, several suspicious boxes were removed from the compound through the rear door of the property," the IDF adds.
The IDF says Salameh’s actions constituted a violation of the understandings and ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, and states it will continue to act to remove threats and defend the State of Israel.

⚠️ Iran Warns of Wider War: Iran’s Foreign Minister issued a warning regarding a potential conflict with the United States.

Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Pakistan, and Indonesia jointly announced they are joining Trump’s “Peace Council.”
⚔️ Trump Warnings to Hamas: Speaking at Davos, President Trump said that if Hamas does not disarm, “they’re going to be blown away.” On moving to Phase B, Trump said, “We’ll know within 2–3 days if Hamas is disarming, at most two to three weeks. 🇮🇱 ISRAEL REALTIME — ANALYSIS
Why Israel May Move First in the Iran–U.S. Crisis
Everyone keeps asking whether the United States will strike Iran.
That’s not the real question.
The real question is why the confrontation may not start in Iran at all — and why Israel may face strong incentives to move first, even if it would prefer not to.
I just published a new op-ed in The Times of Israel that breaks this down clearly and analytically:
- How Iran’s proxy system changes the escalation logic
- Why Hezbollah is central to the timing problem
- How U.S.–Israel coordination (or misalignment) matters
- And where miscalculation becomes most dangerous
This isn’t about predictions or headlines.
It’s about incentives, timing, and the logic driving decisions behind the scenes.
If you’re trying to understand what may actually come next — this is worth the read.

⚠️ TRUMP LAUNCHES “BOARD OF PEACE” AT DAVOS AS IRAN TENSIONS RISE, ISRAELI AIRLINES PREPARE CONTINGENCY PLANS, AND TURKEY DEPLOYS RADAR IN DAMASCUS
🕑 January 22, 2026 | 12:30 PM
🔹 Board of Peace Initiative President: Trump and other world leaders gathered at Davos to sign the charter establishing the Board of Peace - The "Board of Peace" is formally ratified and established as an international organization. Trump said, “Everybody wants to be a part of it,” and claimed 59 countries are involved. He also said Putin has agreed to join his Board of Peace in Gaza, said Hamas must release the last hostage, and only then can progress move forward. Trump said, Iran wants to talk and “we will talk,” and did not rule out military strikes against Iran.
⚠️ Iran–U.S.–Israel Escalation: Assessments Israel does not rule out the possibility that Iran may conclude a U.S. attack is inevitable and attempt to seize the initiative with a preemptive strike, believing surprise would provide the greatest advantage. Israel estimates the United States will strike Iran within weeks if Tehran refuses to resume nuclear talks on U.S. terms. Ynet reported that a broad American assault could aim to destroy what remains of Iran’s nuclear sites, missile program, and air defenses.
❗️ IRGC Warning: The IRGC said, “Our finger is on the trigger and we warn America and the Zionist entity not to make any miscalculations”.
✈️ Israeli Aviation Preparedness: Israel’s commercial airlines are preparing contingency plans to move aircraft out of Ben-Gurion Airport amid concern that Iranian missile fire could threaten aviation infrastructure, Transportation Minister Miri Regev said Wednesday. She said El Al, Arkia, and Israir are prepared to evacuate their fleets abroad if instructed, based on plans refined during past escalations with Iran. A senior airline official said, “We have not received instructions to evacuate the fleet, but we are prepared according to pre-established plans to carry out the mission if required.”
🛑 Turkey and Regional Measures: Turkey has deployed the HTRS-100 radar system at Damascus International Airport in Syria, which can detect aerial targets at a range of up to 115 miles. Sources told the Israeli Broadcasting Authority the deployment could potentially limit Israeli Air Force activity in Syrian airspace. Israel will ban entry to 29 senior Turkish figures, including Bilal Erdogan, the son of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as other officials and public figures, over their anti-Israel activities.

🛡️ Unusual UAV activity over central Israel: Low-flying “Sky Rider”–type UAVs were observed circling for an extended period over Beit Shemesh and surrounding areas. The prolonged circling was described as unusual.
⚠️ IAF chief, Air force prepared for surprises and deep operations: Israeli Air Force chief Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar said the IAF is “prepared, alert, and ready” amid the ongoing tensions with Iran, in remarks provided by the IDF from a visit to an Iron Dome battery yesterday.
“At all times, we are required to be prepared for surprises. Our responsibility is to reduce, as much as possible, the damage to the Israeli home front. We will do everything to protect, even knowing that it is impossible to guarantee zero harm,” Bar said.
“Alongside strong defense, the air force maintains a lethal offensive arm capable of operating deep within enemy territory. The entire air force is prepared, alert, and ready,” he added.

⚠️ IDF CHIEF OF STAFF REVIEWS COUNTERTERROR OPERATIONS IN JUDEA AND SAMARIA, WARNS AGAINST VIGILANTISM, FOILS DRONE GUN SMUGGLING, AND CALLS FOR EXPANDED HAREDI ENLISTMENT
🕑 January 22, 2026 | 7:00 PM
❌ Counterterror operations and command assessment in southern Hebron: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir conducted a situational assessment and regional tour this week in the Judea Regional Brigade as part of an ongoing counterterrorism operation in the southern Hebron area. The visit included the Tomb of the Patriarchs and was attended by senior commanders from Central Command, the Operations Directorate, the Civil Administration, the Judea and Samaria Division, the Border Police, and regional brigade leadership. Zamir said the operation is part of a broader series of proactive counterterror efforts across Judea and Samaria aimed at dismantling terrorist infrastructure and strengthening the defense of nearby communities, stressing the need for sustained, preemptive activity and high readiness for eruptive attacks that may occur without warning.
Addressing the Tomb of the Patriarchs, Zamir highlighted its religious importance and the IDF’s responsibility to protect residents and holy sites, noting that familiarity with Jewish heritage and history strengthens resilience and identity within the IDF. He emphasized that only the IDF and authorized security forces are permitted to use force in the sector, warning that vigilantism by groups or individuals is unacceptable and harmful to communities, even as the IDF continues uncompromising action against terrorism. He concluded by praising IDF troops and security forces operating in the area for maintaining security during ongoing operations.
🎯 Drone-based weapons smuggling from Jordan intercepted: An attempt to smuggle ten pistols into Israel from Jordan using a drone last night was foiled, according to the military. The IDF said the drone was detected crossing the border by soldiers monitoring surveillance cameras, after which troops from the Yoav Regional Brigade downed the device.
The drone was found carrying ten handguns, which were transferred to police custody. A military source said the same drone had been used in an earlier smuggling attempt on Wednesday that was not intercepted.
🪖 Chief of Staff urges expanded Haredi enlistment amid legislative debate: As the government advances legislation to renew exemptions from military service for ultra-Orthodox men, Zamir told Haredi troops that expanding their enlistment is “an essential operational necessity to ensure our readiness for the challenges of the future.” Speaking to soldiers of the Nevatim Airbase ground defense unit composed of ultra-Orthodox men, he said the scope of current missions is broad and demanding, requiring the IDF to expand its ranks. He added that extending mandatory service for men back to 36 months is “only one component” in easing the burden on reserve servicemembers.
“At the same time, the enlistment of the Haredi public is an operational necessity and a moral obligation of us commanders toward all those who serve,” Zamir said, calling for an equal distribution of the burden across society. He said the IDF is preparing a General Staff order to formalize service arrangements that allow ultra-Orthodox troops to maintain a Haredi way of life without harming the character of service of others, adding, “You are proof that it is possible to fully preserve a Haredi way of life while performing meaningful military service.”

❌ IDF ELIMINATES TEN HEZBOLLAH OPERATIVES EMBEDDED IN CIVILIAN AREAS ACROSS SOUTHERN LEBANON
🕑 January 22, 2026 | 7:30 PM
❌ Hezbollah’s civilian-embedded operating method exposed in southern Lebanon: IDF troops eliminated ten terrorists from nine different areas in southern Lebanon over the past several months. The operation was led by the 91st Division.
The eliminated operatives were described as Hezbollah’s executive arm across multiple areas in southern Lebanon. They deliberately operated from within civilian frameworks tied to rebuilding, education, welfare, and infrastructure, which the IDF says were exploited to advance terrorist activity.
According to the IDF, the operatives took control of civilian areas and private property, facilitated the transfer of weapons and operatives, and embedded terrorist infrastructure within the civilian population. The IDF said this reflected planned and cynical exploitation of local residents to advance Hezbollah’s objectives.
The IDF stated that this activity constitutes a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
