IAF STRIKES TERRORIST CELL; TERRORISTS ESCAPE AND HIDE IN AMBULANCE: FOOTAGE FROM 401ST BRIGADE'S COMBAT TEAM OPERATIONS IN ZAYTUN

In Zaytun, northern Gaza, the 401st Brigade, under the direction of intelligence, carried out operational activities targeting Hamas terrorist elements as part of an operation led by the 162nd Division.

During these activities, the soldiers eliminated more than 100 terrorists and destroyed over 35 terrorist infrastructures belonging to Hamas and Islamic Jihad, including weapons storage and manufacturing facilities. Special drones were deployed to scan targets, aiding in the swift neutralization of threats. Additionally, dozens of terrorists were apprehended, interrogated, and provided valuable intelligence on terrorist organizations, which will inform future operations. The forces also conducted operations to uncover areas suspected of housing Hamas launching and underground activities, resulting in the discovery and destruction of hundreds of launch pits and launchers.

In one instance, a Hamas terrorist cell fired an anti-tank missile at close range toward our forces. In response, an IAF aircraft swiftly identified and targeted the cell, eliminating several terrorists, with the remaining seen fleeing and seeking refuge in an ambulance.

In a separate incident, forces detected a Hamas sniper firing from a building adjacent to them. An aircraft promptly neutralized the sniper. Furthermore, terrorist infrastructure associated with a senior Hamas operative, Ad Aladdin Haddad, Commander of the Gaza City Brigade, was also destroyed during the operation.

JOINT IDF AND ISA ANNOUNCEMENT

Yesterday morning, in a joint intelligence-based operation conducted by the IDF and the Israel Security Agency (ISA), the Hamas militant Mahmoud Muhammad Abd Khad was eliminated in an aerial strike in the central Gaza Strip.

Khad held a military position with responsibility for recruiting new operatives for Hamas, specifically within the Zaytun battalions. Additionally, Khad was involved in fundraising activities to support terrorism and Hamas' military endeavors.
