Senator Graham on Iran:

If you control Kharg Island, you control the Iranian economy.
It is a good place to start if you have to go back to this.

Iran says shipping in the Strait of Hormuz stopped after Israel violated the ceasefire with strikes on Lebanon.

IRGC said vessel traffic halted minutes after the attacks.

The White House maintains Lebanon is not part of the US-Iran ceasefire.

Macron condemned Israel’s strikes in Lebanon, warning they “pose a direct threat” to the ceasefire.

He urged that “Lebanon must be fully covered” by the deal.

Macron should visit the bibliothèque, and read about Hezbollah.

Hezbollah Ideology is expressly dedicated to two goals: “Liberating” Jerusalem and what it considers to be all of Palestine including land that today constitutes the State of Israel, which it seeks to destroy; and forming an Islamic government in Lebanon using the Iranian regime as its model. 🔴 IDF: Initial footage from IDF operational activities conducted by soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade in southern Lebanon

Over the past week, IDF soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade, operating under the 98th Division, have expanded their targeted ground operations into additional areas of southern Lebanon.

The brigade’s troops have established operational control of the area and continue to strike Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure sites in order to reinforce the forward defensive area and remove threats to the residents of northern Israel.

As part of the soldiers’ activities, the troops eliminated dozens of Hezbollah terrorists and located a range of weapons, including firearms, magazines, and explosive devices that had been concealed and for use against IDF soldiers.

As I mentioned yesterday:

The Israeli Channel 24 reported:
Lebanon was on the verge of a military coup against the state, similar to the events of May 7, aimed at overthrowing the government.

This was allegedly planned by Hezbollah just hours before the latest Israeli airstrike.” Obviously, this Israeli communication is not insignificant, but let's disregard the information relayed by Channel 24. Anyone, any journalist informed about Lebanon and the recent events on the ground, knows that Hezbollah was preparing suspicious actions.

1- Through threatening statements from militia spokespeople like Mahmoud Qmati, head of Hezbollah's political bureau: “We are capable of overthrowing the country and the government.”

2- Through military sources within the army that thwarted attempted attacks and bombings in certain residential neighborhoods of Beirut.

🟥 Journalist Yossi Yehoshua reported the strike against Hezbollah on Wednesday was a highly successful, intelligence-driven operation comparable in impact to the Pager operation, but more significant in key ways.

Using a new intelligence capability, the IDF rapidly identified and targeted around 100 Hezbollah command centers within minutes, striking leadership-level figures equivalent to mid- and senior-ranking officers.

The attack reportedly killed hundreds, including many commanders unlike the pager operation, which mainly hit lower-level operatives. Yehoshua emphasized the scale and precision of the blow to Hezbollah’s command structure, while noting that tensions remain high, the ceasefire is fragile, and retaliation from Hezbollah or Iran is high.

Ramzan Kadyrov, the so-called leader of Chechnya does not agree with the fact that Tehran is attacking its neighbors, with whom Kadyrov has "brotherly relations".

"Without a doubt, I personally support Iran's side, "but" - I do not support Iran's strikes on peaceful objects and civilian infrastructure of the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf," Kadyrov wrote.

According to media reports, Kadyrov also has a personal interest - he, in particular, owns villas, registered in the names of his relatives, worth more than 20 million dollars. Kadyrov's personal plane often flies to the UAE.

Amiri Moghaddam, also known by the operational name "Ahmad Amiri-Nia," previously served as head of the operations department at the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence.

*ucker Carlson is spewing again:

If you are the strongest military in the world, why can’t you force Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz?

We’re really not as powerful as we said we were.

That’s bad for us, but it’s also dangerous because it invites aggression.

We need to fix that by being honest about what just happened.

No more lying.

Iran has released an official map of required shipping routes in the Strait of Hormuz.

It shows vessels must travel closer to Iran’s coast, and confirms for the first time that usual routes are now considered dangerous due to the risk of naval mines.

Hormuz updates:

● The Strait of Hormuz may be included in the U.S.–Iran cease-fire, but in practice it’s still barely functioning

● NYT: No oil or gas tankers have passed through since the agreement, and only a handful of cargo ships have crossed. Even where passage might be possible, most shipping companies remain cautious and are avoiding the route.

● Iran says vessels must request permission, disclose cargo, and quickly pay about $1 per barrel in crypto. Ships that don’t comply risk being targeted.

● Bloomberg: The U.S. is pushing its allies to move quickly on securing the Strait of Hormuz after the ceasefire, asking European countries to present concrete plans within days.
