The Houthis notified ship owners that following the Gaza ceasefire, they would scale back attacks in the Red Sea, targeting only vessels directly connected to Israel.

If there is anything to learn from this cease-fire, you cannot negotiate with a group that has nothing to lose and only to gain.

What we should see is if Hamas attacks again, then the response will be directed at Mecca.

Only those with something to lose will be capable of negotiating.

Netanyahu’s greatest mistake was not letting it be known that Hamas could not negotiate because Hamas had nothing to lose.

Which puts Israel in a position where any negotiation will be at the expense of Israel.

But these Gulf states, with their cities built by slavery, most certainly have something to lose.
