Explanation of a Summary of al Aqeedatul Hamawiyyah of Ibn Taymiyyah is the commentary on one of Ibn Taymiyyah's works "al-Fatwaa al-Hamawiyyah" which he wrote as an answer to a question presented to him in the Hijrah year of 698.

In it, he was asked what the scholars and Imaams of the religion say concerning the Aayaat and the Ahaadeeth of the Sifaat, or the attributes and characteristics of Allah. So he answered and suffered trials and afflictions. May Allah reward him on behalf of Islaam and the Muslims with the best of rewards.

Due to the difficulty in understanding and comprehending this answer from many readers, Ibn Uthaymeen has summarized the most important points from it along with some other needed additions.

"So, the Lord of all creation loves those who ask and He promised them that He would answer their dua, and that He would make their hopes come true, and that He would give them what they request; as long as they fulfill the legislated conditions when making their dua and any preventative factors are removed. Indeed, many texts in the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of The Messenger ο·Ί show that the accepted dua has rules that are necessary for the one making the dua to be diligent in following them when making his dua. Likewise, there are preventative factors that he must beware of so that his dua is not rejected."

"The discussion about morals and manners is a wide and vast discussion. However, I will condense the talk regarding this matter upon four matters that are regarded as pillars for morals and manners. Hence, Islamic mannerisms are established upon four pillars. Whoever has concern for them is considered, by the permission of Allah, to be from the people of morals and manners. And whoever is deprived of them or anything from them, then morals and manners will be deprived from him according to what he has missed from these pillars. These four pillars regarding morals and manners have been gathered together in four narrations. In each narration is that which points to a pillar from the pillars of morals and manners."
